This will be done in 4 steps as you (1) review the distinctive elements that outline how your mission statement and vision statement differ, (2) note the mission and vision statements for your organization, (3) search the Internet for examples from 3 well-established organizations, and (4) create a mission and vision statement specifically for your team. To illustrate the distinction between these two statements, you will first need to review examples from well-established organizations. Conduct an online search to review the mission and vision statements of 3 well-established organizations, preferably in an industry similar to the one you work in (government, retail, non-profit, service, etc.). Select examples that clearly state their purpose while describing how they will fulfill it in their mission statement and where they will fulfill it in their vision statement.Note your findings in the grid that follows. Briefly state any questions or concerns you have in the comment section for each specific example you reviewed.
