2. An organized system of sacrifices and offerings to God is recorded after the exodus of Israel from Egypt. The Book of Exodus gives instructions for how sacrifices were to be used in the consecration and ordination of priests. Leviticus chapters 1-7 detail the five types of sacrifices in the basic sacrificial system of Israel. These sacrifices were commonly used together and were carried out on behalf of individuals as well as corporately. Please turn to the table on page two of this lesson and fill out the last column of the table before moving on to question 3.
