[Pages:1]As a recipient of an Academic Scholarship, please review the terms and conditions of your scholarship below. This award is based on your admission information at the time of application to Butler University. The payment of the enrollment deposit reserves your scholarship.

This scholarship:

Begins with the 2020?2021 academic year.

Applies to consecutive fall and spring semester enrollments only, with half of the annual value crediting to the student account each semester.

Is for full-time undergraduate enrollment (at least 12 credit hours) each semester as a degree-seeking student pursuing a first bachelor's degree.

Is available for a total of eight semesters (10 semesters for Engineering Dual Degree Program) or less if one of the following occurs:

A bachelor's degree is obtained. Graduate/professional enrollment is established.

This tuition scholarship, in addition to other tuition-specific awards, may not exceed the cost of tuition in an academic year.

The combination of all awards, including outside scholarships, cannot exceed the cost of attendance.

Butler University reserves the right to replace Butler funded awards at any time with endowed scholarships in accordance with the terms of the scholarship.

This scholarship may be used in the full amount for overseas study in an approved exchange program. An approved non-exchange program is limited to 50 percent of the award amount for the first semester of overseas study and 25 percent of the award amount for the second semester of overseas study. This award is only eligible for two semesters of overseas study.

A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Your cumulative GPA will be reviewed at the end of each spring semester. If your GPA is under the 3.0 GPA requirement, your eligibility for Butler gift assistance will be reviewed.

If your scholarship is not renewed, you must submit a written request for reinstatement to the Office of Financial Aid when your cumulative GPA reaches a 3.0 or better.

Full-time undergraduate enrollment (at least 12 credit hours) each semester as a degree-seeking student pursuing a first bachelor's degree.

Make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) towards a degree from Butler University.

If you leave the University for personal reasons and would like to reserve your scholarship, you must request a leave of absence from the Office of Financial Aid. The written request must be submitted prior to the 10th day of the semester for which the leave is requested. If the Office of Financial Aid approves the leave of absence, the scholarship may be reserved for a maximum of two semesters. Personal reasons may include medical, financial or experiential. Attendance at another university or college may not qualify.
