Skills Funding Agency Automation Test Lead – Sept 2016 till date
Skills Funding Agency fund skills training for further education (FE) in England. We support over 1,000 colleges, private training organisations, and employers with £3.2 billion of funding each year. We are responsible for giving colleges, training organisations and employers the right funding to help adults, young people, the unemployed and people with low skill levels to get the skills they need for employment. I built the framework from scratch using Visual Studio (C#), Specflow and OWASP Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP). The framework I built can be found in , click link to view the framework. • The Test Automation framework was built in C# using Selenium Webdriver, SpecFlow & OWASP Zep Attack Proxy (ZAP). The framework provides an easy to use layer for writing Selenium tests using Page Object Pattern. The framework has been integrated with ZAP to use the Functional Test Automation scripts to do Vulnerability Assessment/Security testing for the web application.
• Continuous Integration was set up to find problems early after changes are checked in and built by running continuous tests using Visual Studio Team Services.
• Test Management is done using JIRA
• Define the scope of testing needed with focus on automation and accountable for consistent output of quality testing artifacts and testing services; adherence to quality methodologies
