QUEST DIAGNOSTICS

This is a reminder notification to the Molina Healthcare of California (MHC) provider network that Quest Diagnostics is MHC's contracted laboratory services vendor.

If you are contracted with Community Care IPA and are serving a MHC enrollee assigned to Community Care IPA, please refer to their directory for laboratory services.

Primary Care Physicians should continue to perform the following office based labs: Phlebotomy services Routine office based Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) exempt tests such as urine dipstick, urine pregnancy testing, finger stick glucose and hemoglobin If you are currently using a POC HbA1c machine in your clinic for A1c testing you may continue but please contact your provider services representative so the health plan can ensure we are receiving your patient's test results correctly.

All other laboratory services must be referred to the nearest Quest Diagnostic Service Center (Listed on page 2)

Please note that Quest can arrange for pick-up services from any of our directlycontracted providers in San Diego County. Quest may also be able to provide onsite phlebotomist services upon request.
