On February 6, the Newberry Township Police department responded to Wal-Mart near Interstate 83 located in Etters, PA for the report of a quick change scam that had taken place on January 20, 2012.

Store officials were not aware that a scam had occurred until they were contacted by other Wal-Mart stores in the area and the video surveillance was reviewed. The suspects, three females and one male, all wore hats with the brims pulled down during the crime.

The older female suspect (50-60 years of age) asked for change and reached into the till. While doing so, the one of the younger (approximately 20 years of age) distracted the cashier, while the third younger suspect (approximately 20 years of age) acted as a look out. . The male suspect (40-50 years of age) hung near the entrance as an additional look-out. Several hundred dollars was taken during this theft.

All of the suspects appeared to have European-type accents, and were possibly driving a black dodge charger with tinted windows. It is believed the suspects are from the Philadelphia area.
