5:23 – 2.14 (b) 8
A permit shall not be required for garden-type utility sheds and similar structures that are 100 square feet or less in area, ten (10) feet or less in height, accessory to buildings of group R-2, R-3, R-4 or R-5.

Is currently amended as follows:
Frost protection: the exception shall be deleted and the following shall be inserted in its place.
Exceptions: Free standing buildings meeting all of the following conditions shall not be required to be protected (frost protected).
1. Buildings and other structures that represent a low hazard to human life in the event of failure, including but no limited to, agricultural buildings, temporary buildings and minor storage facilities.
2. Area of 600 square feet or less for light framed construction or 400 square feet or less for other than light frame construction.
3. Eave height of ten (10) feet or less.
Sheds that measure 101 square feet or larger require a Construction permit.
Frost protected footings are no longer required for off site pre-manufactured structures 600 square feet or less.
