Themed work for the week.Can you paint a repeating pattern caterpillar e.g. red section, blue section, red section, blue section?Can you use balloons in paint to make a caterpillar?Draw a caterpillar on paper and cut it out. Fold it in half, and then open it out. Paint on one side of your butterfly and when you have finished fold over the unpainted side and then open it out. Both sides should be symmetrical!Use your handprints to make a butterfly.Create a caterpillar by painting flat stones.Make a caterpillar face out of a box. Cut out a big hole for a mouth and see if you can throw things inside! Move like a caterpillar or a butterfly. Snuggle up like a cocoon.Hide different coloured paper caterpillars and butterflies in the garden. Children have to try and find their chosen colour. The first one to find all of their butterflies and caterpillars is the winnerPlay running games. The children have to run across the garden picking up all the food that the very hungry caterpillar eats. The first one back is the winner. ................
