Data Toolkit

Individual Removal | Duplicate Removal | Case Data Retention

Individual Removal

Use this function to anonymise an individual's record, but keep the case integrity intact. Alternatively, completely remove the individual and associated records from all, or selected, cases on the system.

Duplicate Removal

Ever searched for someone and got multiple results? Using the duplicate removal function you can merge all the duplicates into one single contact. The tool will remap all of the related data to the single contact so then when you run the searches - you only get the one result you're after!

Case Data Retention

Input your "number of years" for retention into the toolkit and have ReACT then collate the cases that qualify for deletion. Once you have the list of cases, you then have a "decision period" in which you can check the cases and exclude any high importance cases you do not wish to delete. With this tool, gone means gone. We only delete closed cases that do not have any active orders on any individuals involved.

ReACT Data Toolkit

GDPR Compliancy

In the run up to 25th May 2018 there were a lot of questions around GDPR and the impact it would have following its introduction. Businesses then looked internally at the systems they had, and how they would cope post 25th May with the vast amount of data that they held on ReACT over the years. Our vision was to create the Data Toolkit as a standalone piece of software that linked directly to ReACT. This meant if you are on our latest versions of ReACT, you wouldn't need any changes to ReACT like patches or updates. It also meant that through continual feedback, we're able to develop the toolkit and add exciting features, without needing to update ReACT

Additional features are available to you...

In addition to allowing GDPR compliancy, you can upgrade the toolkit to access the following features: ? Subject access requests ? Aborted case removal ? Regional remapping ? Bulk de-duplication ? System log readers Subject access request allows you to search for an individual from ReACT and export all of their details to an Excel file. This returns all the data currently held on that person, from basic details to full case notes. If you're often making changes to your organisation's Wards or Patches, you can now reflect these changes simply by using the regional remapping function of the pro-tool. This will update all current and historic cases to keep the integrity of your data. Housekeeping is also made easy by the aborted case removal function where you can delete from the system all of your aborted cases, removing them from the case filters on ReACT Today.

alongside it. Therefore your business keeps running day to day operationally as it should. To adhere to the requirements for compliancy, the data toolkit offers the following functionality: individual anonymisation or removal, and case data retention. We did all the hard work, so all you have to do is search for individuals, review the information and then decide which action you wish to take. The toolkit then does the rest.

The future in mind...

We have designed the data toolkit with the future in mind. Our modular approach to the toolkit means that over time we are able to update the software with additional features - just like we have in our current "professional" offering. As further requests for changes come in from customers, we are able to implement these without having to make changes to the core ReACT software. This leads to a quicker more robust release cycle. We also have designed the tool using the same technology as our upcoming ReACT version 5 software,

this allows for cross compatibility and future-proofing, so when sites upgrade from version 4, to 5, the same toolkit will be available and include additional functionality too. To find out more about the Toolkit, and to arrange your copy for GDPR compliancy, please get in touch with us!
