Directions: In order for us to do a book talk every few weeks (some teachers call it Literature Circles), we need to have notes that will help us remember what we read. Don’t worry, we’re not talking about a lot of writing here, that would take away from how much we’re reading each day. Each day in class, you’ll have three minutes to jot down your thoughts about what you read during SSR. Since brevity is the guiding principle here, your entry needs to be a minimum of 50 words and no more than 100. Then, every two weeks, your SSR reading log will be stamped for credit.
