How to Use this Guide

The Guide to Services for Older Delawareans and Persons with Disabilities contains a wealth of information about services and programs around our state.

The guide is organized into numerous sections, each of which provides information on a specific subject, such as a type of service or program. Most sections contain a short description of the service and a list of service providers along with their contact information. The sections are presented in alphabetical order, starting with Accessibility and ending with Volunteerism followed by a list of libraries and State Service Centers locations. A full list of subjects may be found in the Table of Contents.

To find information about a specific service provider or resource, such as a senior center or a home care agency, please look in the Index at the end of the guide. The index lists the organizations and resources included in the guide and the page number(s) where you can find information about them.

The Guide to Services is available in print format and on the web. The web version is formatted for easy navigation. An advantage of the web version is that you can adjust the size of the print to suit your needs. To access the web version of the guide, visit dhss.dsaapd.

You can also visit the Delaware Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) website at to get a copy of the guide and use the Service Search feature of the site to learn about services in your county.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions, additions or corrections for the Guide to Services. Please call the ADRC at (800) 223-9074 or email DelawareADRC@ with your input.
