1. Cut off the top half of the "Reasons for the Seasons Worksheet" and attach it to a blank page in your astronomy lab notebook.
2. Cut out the four images of the Earth and attach each one at an appropriate place on the Earth's orbit on the worksheet in your notebook. Be sure the Earth's axis is tilted the proper amount and direction for each location. Darken the nighttime side of the Earth for each location.
3. Label the appropriate season in the Northern Hemisphere for each location where you placed your Earths. Make sure you note which way the Earth is orbiting the Sun.
4. At the bottom of the page in your notebook, explain how the diagram shows the reasons for the seasons on the Earth.
