Our Mission

To assist indi v iduals who have significant substance abuse and persistent mental illness to develop the skills and supports necessary to live, learn, or work in the community of their choice with the least amount of intervention from the substance abuse community and mental health system.

Levels of Care

Any adult requesting treatment services will be offered an individual assessment by a trained professional to determine the appropriate level of care necessary to address his or her issues. Crossroads currently offers three different levels of A.S.A.M. designated out-patient substance abuse treatment including Partial Care and Intensive Outpatient Services.

Intensive Outpatient Services are designed for an adult who can b enefit from professional treatment more than once per week to address his or her substance abuse, but does not need the daily treatment provided in Partial Care. A total of 9 hours of treatment services will be p ro vide d we ekly , o n Mo nday t h rough Fr iday b e t we e n the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Specific treatment services mirror those offered in Partial Care, with a greater emphasis placed on helping each client to maintain his or her abstinence and in developing relapse prevention skills.

A client receiving Intensive Outpatient Services may benefit from the flexibility of this level of treatment that will allow him or her to both receive treatment and to attend to other personal responsibilities such as work or family.

Door to door transportation will be provided on a limited basis to program participants.

Crossroads offers two separate mental health and substance abuse co-o ccurring programs at the partial level of care. Partial Care is designed for any adult who needs a daily structured treatment program to address his or her substance abuse or mental health but is not at a point of requiring inpatient hospitalization or residential treatment.

The partial care level of service offers up to 30 hours of weekly treatment in the form of 5 (SA) or 6 (MH) hou r day s , Mo nday t h rough Fr iday , b e t we e n t he hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Services are designed to provide information and support, to confront self-defeating b ehaviors in a professional manner and to assist each client in stopping the use of alcohol and other drugs. Specific program services include, but are not limited to the following:

Group therapy To p i c - o r ie nte d di s c u s s io n g roup s Pys cho-e duc at io n An intro duction to self-help Individual counseling Fa m i ly e duc at io n a nd cou n s el i ng Case management Door to door transportation will be provided on a limited basis to program participants.

(Detox)Withdrawal Management Services

ASA M P PC - 2 R 3 rd edition Level 1 W M and Level 2 W M Behavioral Crossroads Recovery acknowledges that there are certain individuals whose substance abuse detoxification can be met at an outpatient level of care. These are individuals who, as a result of their addiction, have experienced minor or no disruptions in their o ccupation, or those who can only afford very limited leave from work, have no other complicating medical conditions other than drug withdrawals and have external supports to support their first step at recovery. The treatment option therefore affords the least disruption in the individual's work s chedule and affords receiving services dis cretely from their physicians. This minimizes the stigma asso ciated with addiction treatment. The Center provides short-term (generally (5) days or less) detoxification.
