Reflection Paper: General Instructions and Rubric

Objective: A thoughtful reflection incorporating two of the four Stated Objectives below to the focus of your particular Summer of Growth workshop. Your reflection will need to address elements of anticipated obstacles and possible solutions related to teacher preparation, student engagement and achievement. Addressing the urgency for a successful transition plan to full implementation of curriculum and assessment by the spring of 2015 is also encouraged.

Stated Objectives:

• Differentiation: Meeting the needs of ALL students

• Specific Content Revisions

Format: This paper is designed to reflect your thinking process and should be 3 pages in length, typed, double-spaced and in a 12-point Times New Roman (TNR) font with one-inch margins. Grammar and spelling will be evaluated. This reflection paper is to be used as proof of meeting graduate-level standards and therefore must be thoughtful and meaningful.

Grading Rubric: The following rubric will be used to evaluate your work. A passing score is in the range of 18 to 24 points.
