We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in our North Central region. This position will manage all aspects of the sales process within the assigned region. Lead, develop and direct the assigned sales team. Assist and support the sales team to execute sales strategy, identify the needs associated with each account and implement accordingly to meet those needs

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Directly manage sales representatives in the sales organization for the assigned region. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals.

• Direct targeting activity and set performance goals accordingly.

• Review market analyses to determine customer needs.

• Make sales calls and deliver sales presentations to clients in coordination with Sales Representatives.

• Assist Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships with clients and also negotiating and closing deals.

• Coordinate liaison activities between sales team and other departments as required.

• Travel to accounts on a routine and as needed basis.

• Provide activity reporting and analysis to the Vice President, Sales

• Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

• Prepare monthly sales report showing sales volume, target account activity and opportunity.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate:

• B.A. or B.S. degree.  Advanced degree a positive.

• A proven track record in developing and maintaining customer relationships.

• Possess a high level of personal integrity and business ethics.

• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization including proven record of matrix managing field organization, to achieve corporate-wide national account sales goals.

• Posses a high level of personal integrity and business ethics.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in business, sales and marketing.

• 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the polyester, fiberglass or related industry.

• 5 Years of successful sales management required.

• Must possess stature, confidence and credibility to develop relationships.

• Proven leadership skills in order to train, direct and motivate personnel to achieve and maintain agreed upon stated goals and objectives.

• Must possess stature, confidence and credibility to develop relationships.

• High energy approach to business, and a desire to succeed.

• Computer literacy and experience in MS office applications.

• Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license for the state of residency and have an acceptable driving record.
