Transcription

To all to whom these may Concern --

Know ye that I Bryant Adams having made

Choice of the house of my Son Jesse Adams where I

wish to spend the ballance [sic] of my life and being anx-

-ious to rid myself of all Cares and insure myself

a Comfortable maintainance [sic] and for this purpose have

and do hereby Convey and deliver unto the said Jesse

Adams all my property rights or Credits (viz) one fea-

-ther Bed and furniture two Trunks all my money

the sum not exactly recollected) to his own proper use

& benefit to him the said Jesse Adams & his heirs for-

-ever ? And I the said Jesse Adams do hereby acknowled

-ge the receit [sic] thereof and do also engage in behalf

of my self & my heirs for the Consideration above expressed

deliverd & received to furnish the said Bryant Adams

a decent and Comfortable maintainance at my own

house as long as he Shall live. unto which we the parties have each of us set our hands & Seals this 7th day of

May 1836 ~
