|SUMMARY: |

|Position under the direction of Clinical Services Director requires experience working with neglected, abused, and traumatized children, overburdened |

|families, in early childhood development, and as part of a team. The Licensed Therapist/AMFT or trainee will provide individual and family |

|psychotherapy, lead therapeutic groups and act as resource person for parents and team members. Provide clinical oversight and expertise to Early Head |

|Start Program. Accept Early Head Start Program referrals, provide clinical oversight and expertise to EHS program staff and attend EHS program team |

|meetings. Position may also provide training, review and recommend resource materials for Family Advocates to use and for Class Facilitators to use in |

|their classes with families. |

|ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: |

|The Licensed Therapist or AMFT will conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual, conjoint, and group psychotherapy. Clinician will assist in|

|development and implementation of groups for children, adolescents, and adults on an as needed basis. |

|Conduct Psychosocial assessments |

|Provide direct psychotherapy services to qualified child and adult clients |

|Case manage services to assigned therapy clients |

|Coordinate services agency teams |

|Meet all federal, state and local regulations regarding program operation |

|Maintain contact with any assigned advisory groups |

|Performs other duties as assigned |

EDUCATION:

▪ Completed Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in Counseling Psychology or other qualified Behavioral Health degree program. Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT or MFCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed to provide services in the State of California.

▪ Registered as an intern with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences

|COMPENSATION: |

|$20.00/hour for Trainees $25.00/hour for AMFT $27.00/hour for MFT |
