Amending a Sales Order-(Quote)

SPECIAL NOTE:

If the order is to ship from MAIN warehouse (Chicago) please click the Outstanding Sales Order icon and check the order status of the order. Do not make changes unless the Sales Order status says BACKORDER or TO BE RELEASED.

To amend a sales order, click the Amend SO icon. This module allows you to make changes to your existing open sales orders.

In this module you will only be able to add an item, delete an item, change quantity, change the unit price, and all customer information. (i.e. P.O. #, Shipping information etc.)

You cannot change the CUSTOMER ACCOUNT NUMBER or WAREHOUSE. If you need assistance with these two issues, please contact your Customer Service Representative.

This will be the next screen you will see. Please select the underlined sales order you wish to change by clicking on the sales order #. This will open up the sales order for changes.

In this screen you will be able to delete an item, change the quantity, change the unit price(You cannot go below the default unit price.) and all customer information fields. (i.e. P.O. #, Shipping information etc.) . To do this just click on the appropriate box you wish to amend. You must then click on the “Save Changes” button

to accept changes.

If you wish to add an item to a sales order, please click the ‘Continue Shopping’ button at the bottom of the screen. This will allow you to add items to your order. You must click the “Save” tab at the bottom of the line item entry screen for every part number added.

If you do not do this your additional line items will not appear on the sales order.

Once the changes have been amended, click the “Save Changes” button. This will save all changes and you will proceed to a new screen. If your screen does not change then the changes have not been saved. An error message will show up in red type just above the three green buttons at the bottom of the screen. You may have to scroll down to see the error message. Please read the error message and take appropriate action. Once this action is completed click the “Save Changes” button and the screen will change to the screen on the next page.

Notify your CSR on changes to all Sales Orders shipping from any warehouse other than your own.

From the screen below you can click the “Preview” button. This will allow you to view the order/quote that was just amended. (See next page)

If you click the “Back” button this will bring the previous screen you were at after logging into Kwik Order.

You are now able to preview the amended order/quote. From this screen you may also print the sales order/quote by clicking the “Print” button at the bottom of the Sales Order/Quote form. If you wish to close the screen you may click the “Close” button or click the red “X” above Sales Order/Quote in the right hand corner. If the order has more than one line item, you will need to use the scroll bar to the right of the Sales Order/Quote form to preview all information.
