Savage AccuStock Installation Instructions

Step 1 - Inlet the stock to accept the CDi bottom metal unit. Follow install sheet directions for proper details on inletting the stock.

Step 2 ? AccuStock models require installation of the enclosed bolt release lever extension tab. Reshape your existing bolt release lever with a dremel tool or grinder to fit the new lever extension tab(see picture below). Trial fit the new lever extension to the bolt release lever before adhering in place permanently with Devcon or 30-Minute Epoxy. The L shaped lever should point inward away from the stock. After this assembly is dry test it in your fully assembled rifle for proper function ensuring clearance and that there is no drag on the stock. If the lever touches anything, you have to ensure the lever does not bind or drag. Just make enough clearance to allow free movement.

Step 3 - The magazine should click into place snugly and must sit at the correct height to the barrel for proper round loading and operation. CDi does not recommend any modifications to Accuracy International magazines. AI Magazines should never be machined, cut or ground for any reason. Adjusting the feed lips for non-standard rounds is ok.
