ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS 2011

The Book Sale Committee wishes to thank all those donors of books, maps, periodicals, LPs, DVDs and other items, without whose great generosity this sale would not be possible. A list of as many donors’ names as we have been able to collect since our last sale a year ago is attached to these pages.

In particular, donors of items included in the auction have been acknowledged individually, where possible, in the following catalogue. It is regretted that all these names are not available to us, although in some cases at least this would seem to be due to a desire for anonymity on the part of the donor.

Thanks are also due to the volunteers who have been collecting, sorting, pricing, and packing books for much of the past year, since soon after the end of last year’s sale. The sale could scarcely take place, let alone run so smoothly, without the help of many other people within College to whom we offer our sincere and continuing gratitude. In particular to the staff of the Buildings Office for the great help they have given us with the transportation of hundreds of very heavy boxes and the staff of Goldsmith Hall for their help in receiving books over the past year.
