Reverend Mr. Timothy Nicholas Theriault is scheduled to be ordained to the Priesthood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King, Hamilton, Ontario. PRIESTHOOD ORDINATIONS – Please join us on Saturday, May 5th, at 11:00 a.m. for the Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacons Grayson Hope, Christopher Tracey and Tim Theriault. THE C.W.L. of ST. CLEMENT PARISH is holding its ANNUAL PENNY SALE on FRIDAY, MAY 11th, in the Parish Hall (church basement). There will also be door prize and quilt draws. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the draws begin at 7:30 p.m. The League requests your help to make this a great success; required are donations of non-perishable food items and NEW ONLY items for the tables. Boxes for donations will be at the back of the church on April 28th/29th and on May 4th. All donations must be received by May 4th, prior to Father Peter’s celebration date. ← The conferring of the Sacrament will take place in the pews during Mass. The Sacrament is intended not only for the sick but for those weakened by old age or failing health, those about to undergo serious surgery and those who personally feel a need for the healing Hand of the Lord.
← If you have family or friends who are housebound or in a nursing home, consider assisting them to attend this special Mass. Our lift (on the Westminster side) allows wheelchair access to the Church and Parish Hall, and there is a wheelchair-accessible washroom in the Hall.

PARISH GOLF – Spring has arrived: It’s time to start thinking about golf! Last year, our parish group usually golfed on Tuesday mornings at Puslinch Lake Golf Course from May through September. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
ST. CLEMENT PARISH, CAMBRIDGE, is looking for a Custodian. This position requires a commitment of 20 to 30+ hours weekly and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Primary custodial responsibilities include:
General upkeep of the Parish property and ensuring that the Church and Parish Hall are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times. ( Facilitating minor repairs and maintenance of the Parish property, including seasonal cleaning and upkeep and a periodic check of St. Clement Cemetery. ( Overseeing contractors to ensure satisfactory work is completed on a timely basis. ( Setting up for Parish events, including decorating the Church for the feasts and seasons in the Church calendar. ( Replenishing custodial stock items such as cleaning products, sanitary items, etc.
Qualities and Skills:
Prior experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role ( Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances. ( Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices. ( Attention to detail, conscientiousness, reliability and flexibility. ( Fit physical condition.

THE NOTRE DAME CLUB OF TORONTO / CENTRAL ONTARIO is hosting its SECOND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT on Saturday, June 2nd, at the Galt Country Club. In support of the food pantry of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Clement Parish, participants will be asked to provide a non-perishable food donation. NEW SUMMER MASS SCHEDULE – It is with regret that we are discontinuing the 7:30 a.m. Sunday Mass during the months of July and August, effective July 1st, 2018.
The Weekend Summer Mass Schedule will now be: Saturday at 5:00 p.m.;
Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The attendance for the Sunday 7:30 a.m. Mass has been falling for some time, and it has become increasingly difficult to schedule early morning ministries during the summer months. Thank you for your understanding.
CAMP SHALOM SUMMER STAFF – Camp Shalom is looking for summer staff. If you love Jesus and like working with kids or individuals with special needs, then this might be for you.
