I am a recent college graduate with my MS in Geology. I have always had the innate ability to do anything. I excel at any role or position I am given. As with any job the way to gain the experience needed for the position is on the job training. As a mudlogger for Diversified I have developed skills for sample catching, formation identification, lithology log updates, well log monitoring, monitoring real time gas levels analyze gas kicks, daily reports, Totco updates while drilling, calibration of gas equipment and troubleshooting. This position has helped me develop skills for multi-tasking and updating many different computer programs simultaneously.

As a Project Coordinator for National Employee Development Center (NEDC), responsible for updating agency web-based courses to ensure the courses are in compliance with USDA online conformance and accessibility standard. I Provide assistance on desktop publishing office tools, compile reports on evaluation data, and provide training on IT and AV equipment hardware management. I establish that the course meets the requirements that Federal Section 508 mandates by utilizing accessibility software. I ensured courses conform to the SCORM or AICC requirements for all the online accessible courses being integrated within Aglearn. During Aglearns migration to a new system I assisted with all issues related to the migration included correction of domains for employees. Research independently, by working with subject matter experts and utilizing various geology related knowledge on these courses I am able to ensure proper updates to courses. I utilized my knowledge of various softwares and scripting to ensure of Adobe JavaScript to provide assistance in updating paper based forms to auto fill pdf’s; conversion of courses from VHS format to digital format using Adobe Premier;

As a science tutor in the Ector county school district I created engaging, hands on activities to help facilitate the learning process of children with a language barrier of English being their second language. I assisted each child with projects, taking them step-by-step through the process of an experiment, using mistakes as a learning opportunities rather than a negative. I established daily lesson plans; Created new and interesting ways of learning science, such as, games, experiments, and science fair projects. Assisted students in preparation for Texas Academic Knowledge Standard test. I was also the children’s substitute teacher for two weeks, teaching all subjects, due to teacher illness.

As a financial advisor I established appointments for prospective clients, presented materials, and handled contracts for all products currently in the Primerica portfolio including retirement plans (i.e. 401K), consolidation loans, life insurance and mortgages. Meeting with each individual employee of a company to ensure there 401k was tailored to their needs was crucial part of setting up the 401k. Public Relations, Marketing and Communications coordinator, American Income Life, Irving, TX, October 2003 - April 2004

As a public relations coordinator I was responsible for planning, research, establishing relationships and working with unions, credit unions and associations with member benefits from American Income Life. Creating a report with these businesses allowed the company to meet with their members and offer the benefits a large audience.
