Job Summary

Tasting Room Associate is responsible for providing the front line guest experience. As a Tasting Room Associate, one is responsible for providing the fine experience to all guests by welcoming and presenting.

Primary Duties

• Greet all visitors to the tasting room and pour sake for tasting

• Create a memorable experience for the guests

• Describe sake and Ozeki Sake USA Inc. history; answer visitors’ questions about sake

• Provide general tourist information

• Handle routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales

• Assist with display and stocking of retail items and sake

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facilities

• Assist in decorating facilities

• Assist with hospitality special events as needed

• Represent Ozeki Sake USA Inc. at outside functions as needed

• Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of sake and Ozeki Sake USA Inc. and its sake

Qualification

• Experience in brewery and winery is helpful

• Knowledge of sake and sake brewing

• Commitment to excellence and high standards

• Proficient on the computer (Microsoft Office)

• Excellent oral communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Strong organizational skill

• Professional appearance and demeanor versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop and crouch repeatedly

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis

• Coordinate multiple tasks

Work Hours (subject to change)

• Training - first one month, five to six hours a week (time and date to be discussed)

• After completing training, 11AM to 4PM (Friday, possibly Saturday & Monday)

Wage

• $15/hr during training and $20/hr after completing training
