Authors must submit a one-page abstract to describe in detail the work to be presented. Material and method: The abstract template is a Microsoft WORD file designed to guarantee that the abstract has a good format for publication in the Book of Abstracts. Save this template file on your computer hard drive and use it when you prepare your abstract. Replace each item, such as title, authors, addresses, text, figures, references with the appropriate content. The abstract must be structured into: Introduction, Material and method, Results, and Conclusions. The length of the abstract is limited to 1 page, 216mm x 279mm, (8.5"x 11") letter format. Margins on the top, bottom, left, and right are 2.5 cm. Title, authors, and affiliation: single column; abstract contents: double column, single-spaced. Font type: Times New Roman. Title: 12 pts, body text: 10 pts. Headers in bold as in this template. References without the title. Please do not hyperlink your email address. Any departure from this format or style will not be accepted.We encourage the use of figures and tables in the abstract. They should fit in a single column. Please realize that the file size is limited to 2.0 MB. Also, note that the Book of Abstracts will be printed in black and white. SI units must be used.Results: For each abstract, it is necessary to identify the corresponding author (who will be the contact for information). Only the email of the corresponding author must appear in the abstract. Contributions that correspond to student thesis work must indicate the corresponding degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) after the student affiliation. Abstracts should be submitted before July 31, 2021, online via the website. Submitting an abstract is a multi-step process with choices and questions. One of the questions will be about your preference of presentation modality (oral/poster). All submissions will be acknowledged by email. Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee, who will recommend abstracts for acceptance either as oral, poster presentation, or rejection. Quality of the work, clarity, and completeness of the submitted material will be considered as well. Corresponding authors will be notified about the decision by August 15, 2021.Conclusions: The proceedings will be published in the Brazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences () in 2022.
