RE: Bailey Education Group, LLC
We would like to request the authorization of the attached purchase requisition. This will allow the Bailey Education Group to provide on-site consulting in the areas of English/Language Arts, math, and
science.
Dr. Amacker, Bailey Group representatives, and I met with individual principals to develop datainformed plans for 2017-2018 consultation needs that address strengths, weaknesses, and other factors. Some topics that were included in the plans are:
? Consultation days will be concentrated proportionally to areas/subjects of most need. ? Students who populate the lower 25% will be closely identified and strategies developed to
facilitate their growth ? Due to the testing of new science standards in 18-19,science teachers will be given instructional
support and training to effectively teach the new standards with appropriate focus and rigor. ? Lessons will be modeled by Bailey group consultants for teachers as if they were students in
classrooms. This will allow teachers to more fully grasp the practical instructional suggestions given in writing and math lessons. ? An instructional "blitz" between non-tested schools/grade levels will be organized and
facilitated.
? Assessments will be analyzed and critiqued by Bailey Group consultants for rigor and focus. ? l-Ready data will be reviewed and suggestions for utilizing data in daily classroom instruction will
be given.
We have utilized the coaching services of Bailey Education Group since 2010 and it has made a significant impact on our success. It is our belief that having Bailey Education Group consultants work closely with our teachers and principals this year will once again have a positive impact on the
achievement level of our schools.
Please note the attached requests made by principals in the school district for this consulting service.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
