Objective:

For the next few days, you will be creating a PowerPoint in pairs or threes about the rise, decline, and fall of the Roman Empire.

Instructions:

The topics are as follows:

1. Growth and Trade (p.308-309) 2. The Third Century Crisis (p. 326-327) 3. Eastern and Western Roman Empires (p.328-329) 4. End of the Western Empire (p. 331-332)

You will only use your book to research the topics.

For each topic answer the following:

Describe the events for each section. Then tell me how these events led to the decline and/or fall of Rome (except for the Growth and Trade slides). For the Growth and Trade section, tell me how the Romans spread their culture throughout their empire.

There should be at least one slide for each section, but you can have more. Make the font no smaller than 20. Each section needs at least one picture and each slide needs a title.
