cemented a 6-foot-5, 250-pound claim as ohio State's highest-rated class of 2017. Young now ranks No. 8 overall, jumping one place ahead of linebacker and early enrollee Baron Browning, laying another layer in the assertion that he should have been a 5-star rival on the board long before. Young has steadily climbed to the top rankings

in recent years, and he has evolved into a versatile defensive end who can rush a passer and make plays on the open field, Mid-Atlantic analyst Adam Friedman wrote. Ohio State's commitment has outstanding athletics, and its speed and balance makes it difficult for big offensive linemen to stay in front of him. The biggest

question about Young was his strength at the point of attack. In the Army All-American Bowl, he has proven that he has the strength to play against the run as well. Young and Browning are two of the five future Buckeyes ranked in the top-25 final ranking. Others: cornerback Jeffrey Okudah, offensive lineman Wyatt Davis and cornerback

Shaun Wade. That number could rise to six if the Buckeyes could reel in defensive tackle Marvin Wilson. He is the No. 2 player in the class. Ohio State's next remaining target in the top-100 is another defensive tackle, Jay Tufele, who ranks 37th. Not everything trendy in northern Ohio state commits, however. Offensive lineman and early

enrollee Josh Myers lost his fifth star and fell to No 55 overall. Physically, Myers was arguably the most impressive looking offensive lineman on the Eastern squad for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but his performance at the event was arguably the worst, and it's hard to chalk him up for just a bad week, Midwest Recruiting
