JOB TITLE: FIELD CHEMIST

The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Technical individual responsible for handling, packaging, transportation and disposal of hazardous laboratory chemicals and wastes

• Reports to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor and may perform analysis of chemicals, development of safe handling and packaging protocols and adhering to proper safety and environmental regulations.

• Work in teams to perform lab pack services including chemical segregation, packing, and disposal.

JOB TITLE: FIELD TECHNICIAN

The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. The Field Technician reports directly to the Project Foreman and Site Supervisor.

2. The Field Technician is responsible for tasks associated with site remediation, emergency response spill clean-up, abatement and demolition projects and handling of hazardous waste.

3. Performs various manual activities to complete assigned work

4. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

5. Ensures the safety of the work completed by participating in daily tailgate safety meeting and adhering to health and safety policies and procedures

6. Identifies potentially unsafe conditions or procedures to Foreman.

7. Operates light equipment such as pressure washers, generators, jack-hammers, product skimmers, pumps, vacuum pumps and hoses, spill boom, digging equipment, saws and other hand tools.

8. Capable of performing work in environments from excavation, remediation, decontamination, waste handling, loading, transportation, marine and terrestrial conditions, UST/AST removal and replacement.

9. Perform work in various temperatures both indoors in and outdoors in all types of weather conditions while wearing PPE.

10. Works in atmospheres that may contain the potential for exposure to various chemicals, elevated noise, confined space and elevated areas.

11. Must be able to don /doff and properly use a variety of PPE including but not limited to Level A, B, C, D and modified D PPE. This may include full & half face respirators, hand, head, eye and foot protection.

JOB TITLE: HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. Administers the health and safety program at assigned job site locations to ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, OSHA and all federal, state and local regulatory safety requirements.

2. Works closely with daily field operations to identify and correct site safety hazards.

3. During project progress the health and safety representative conducts field audits on a daily basis. Documents daily activity and follows up real time w/ Foreman, Supervisors, Project Managers and the Corporate Health & Safety Officer.

4. Notifies Operations Manager and Corporate Health & Safety Office immediately if any severe accident, incident, near miss, property damage or security incident occurs on the job site.

5. Investigates all accidents and near misses that occur on the job site. Prepares required documentation and issues final report to Corporate Health & Safety Officer.

6. Responsible for development and management of Safety Training Programs.

7. Conducts monthly safety awareness training meetings.

8. Maintains site personal involvement and provides Heath & Safety guidance on the jobsite: Conducts daily pre-job safety toolbox/"tail gate" meetings.

9. Evaluates/Inspects safety equipment (i.e. Respirators, SCBA's, PPE Clothing, Sampling protocol).

10. Manages on-site air monitoring (PID's, FID's, Sampling Pumps, Radiation Badges, Dosimeter Badges), physical and chemical exposure condition for the respective environment of work (i.e. tanks, laboratories, chemical facilities, demolition areas, excavations, sump, pits, hot and cold locations).

23. Mechanics will be capable of developing and following a checklist that includes the inspection and cleaning of equipment such as brakes, electrical systems, electrical motors, fuel injection systems, hydraulic pumps, carburetors, transmissions and other parts.

24. Mechanic will provide quick and accurate diagnosis of system/engines, requires problem-solving ability and a thorough knowledge of the equipment’s operation.

25. Must be able to demonstrate/understand the use of various techniques to diagnose the source and extent of the problem with the equipment with an instrument or system.

26. Mechanic will have on occasion the need to conduct complete engine overhauls including disassembly and replacement of worn valves, pistons, bearings, and other internal parts.

27. Mechanics will have their own tools and be capable of using company power tools, computerized engine analyzers, compression gauges, ammeters, voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
