A popular spot to study and socialize, this campus landmark is located between the

John C. Hitt Library and Millican Hall. During Homecoming week, UCF hosts Spirit

Splash, when the university president, coaches, cheerleaders, marching band and

students celebrate in and around the Reflecting Pond.

Named for one of the first African-American faculty members at UCF, this gathering

place includes UCF Card Services, a campus bookstore, Chick-fil-A and services for

banking, mailing and printing ¡ª even a salon.

The heart of the UCF campus is a hub for activities, events and socializing. Eateries

include Qdoba, Smoothie King, Chili¡¯s, Caf¨¦ Bustelo and others. Plus, there are study

spaces and computer labs with free printing, a computer store, lounges,

a convenience store and the SGA Ticket Center, which offers student discounts

to local attractions and events.

This expansive grassy area ¡ª located between the CFE Arena, FAIRWINDS Alumni

Center and the Student Union ¡ª is where you can find students enjoying Florida¡¯s

signature sunshine all year round. Every game day, UCF football fans gather here

to tailgate and celebrate before kickoff. Nearby Knights Plaza boasts an array of

restaurants and retail shops, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Knightro¡¯s.

With three buildings housing the College of Engineering and Computer Science, this

is where students work with industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Harris

Corp., NASA and Siemens. It¡¯s also where cutting-edge nanotechnology research

takes place at the Advanced Materials Processing and Analysis Center. In the atrium,

be sure to take a peek through the glass walls of the Idea Lab, then scope out the

replica ride vehicle from Disney World¡¯s Space Mountain.

Home to some of UCF¡¯s most popular majors, the college trains students to succeed

in a rapidly changing economy. Every weekday, The EXCHANGE hosts faculty and

community leaders who engage students in thought-provoking conversations.

Entrepreneurial ideas become a reality thanks to startup resources from the UCF

Blackstone LaunchPad. And the Office of Professional Development, located in

Business II, helps students set career goals in motion from day one.

Student Health Services provides a variety of primary and specialty care services

including a pharmacy, dental center, women¡¯s clinic, lab testing, immunizations

and more. Adjacent to the health center is the counseling center, which provides

free comprehensive psychological services to enrolled students. The counseling

center offers initial assessments, individual counseling, group therapy, workshops,

intervention and walk-in services.

Live in the heart of campus in housing options ranging from traditional shared suites

to upscale apartments. All UCF communities are fully furnished and include utilities,

high-speed Wi-Fi and 24-hour staff support. Feeling hungry? ¡¯63 South dining hall

provides a wide variety of meal options from morning to late night.

This facility has two swimming pools, cardio and fitness floors, a 41-foot rock-climbing

wall, sand volleyball and multipurpose courts, aquatics facilities and more. Aerobics,

yoga, Pilates and spinning are a few of the free exercise classes offered to students.

The university¡¯s intramural and club sports are supervised here, as well.
