A Vision of Faithfulness in God's Mission

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I'm pleased to submit this annual report on the work and stewardship of the Department of

Global Witness and Ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. This report includes all of those things required per Discipline, but it goes beyond statistical

data. This report will hopefully be a "snapshot" of the real work done, real efforts made and real lives changed.

This report will hopefully show that from disaster ravaged areas in the United States of America to places of struggle in the Caribbean to places of strife and challenge in India to places of struggle on the African Continent, the Department of Global Witness and Ministry has been an agent of change, an advocate for progress and a source of solace and hope and meaningful assistance.

Ours is a world that badly needs the life-changing Gospel to be offered not only by our preaching, but by our work to bring wholeness, liberation and well being. I'm glad that in some small way, the Department ? in partnership with the Women's Missionary Society, SADA, Church World Service and like minded ecumenical and nongovernmental organizations has played a role in spreading the Gospel in tangible ways.

I thank God and the Church for the opportunity to serve. I especially thank those of you who have personally been of support and encouragement to me as I have journeyed on this path of mission. I recognize that I have not been alone, but you my brothers and sisters have been a blessing in innumerable ways. I pray God's continued blessings on the church of my birth and choice.
