Cookbook profits go to Food Pantry Thank you to everyone who purchased a ZPC cookbook. We had an overwhelming response! Profits raised in the amount of $1,609 were donated to the Zionsville Food Pantry.

Lenten Banners The banners hanging on the Sanctuary walls contain images that point to the historical events of Lent and Holy Week. The initials INRI (Latin: Isus Nazarnus, Rx Idaerum) represent the Latin inscription (as in John 19:19), which in English translates to Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews, and John 19:20 states that this was written in three languages--Hebrew, Latin, and Greek--during the crucifixion of Jesus.

You are invited to assist in decorating the church for Easter! Your donation will purchase Easter plants for the Sanctuary. Please designate below how many plants you would like to purchase and whether your donation is in memory or in honor of a loved one. Those names will be reflected in the bulletin on Easter. You may take your plant home after the 10:30 service on Easter or donate it. The suggested donation is $13 per plant. Please make your check payable to Zionsville Presbyterian Church and mark it for Easter flowers in the memo. Deadline to order is Sunday, April 14.

congregational meeting

Please plan to join us at a Congregational Meeting called by the ZPC Session this morning following the 10:30 service. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the members of the 2019 Nominating Committee. The Session has nominated Amanda Stricker, a currently serving elder, as Chair of the committee and Darin Stalbaum, a non-serving elder, as the Elder Representative. The Deacons have nominated Tim Millar as the Deacon Representative. The slate for 4 at-large members of the Committee are nominated by the congregation. The Nominating Committee is responsible for selecting members that will be presented as a slate of candidates to serve as Elders and Deacons beginning in 2020. Anyone is welcome to attend the Congregational Meeting; however, you must be a member of ZPC to vote at the meeting.
