Digital Vision Board Instructions for LEADStep 1:?Clarify your goals to find success at WWU. Get super specific about what you really want and why you want to achieve it. Ask yourself a few questions that include:How will I achieve this goal? What help will I need? What skills will I need to improve? How will I keep track of my progress? What might get in the way and how can I handle this obstacle???Step 2:?When deciding what to put on a vision board, use your own photos or search your favorite royalty-free websites for images that represent your goals. Photos that you find inspiring and that capture your dreams. Another great addition to your vision board is to use powerful and inspiring words.? Remember, one of the main drivers behind each of the goals you put on your vision board is how?you believe you will feel?when you achieve this goal.??Choose and include words that evoke the feeling that you most want to experience.??Step 3:?Create your vision board using?PowerPoint, Word, or Canva,? and make a digital collage of your inspiring images. I use Canva most of the time because I can add text in different fonts as overlays to make it even more motivating!Upload or copy/paste the photos you've chosen to your vision board. Finally, add some text to further inspire you. The text can be a few simple words, or it can be a written affirmation or goal statement.?Optional - Step 4:?Make?the graphic the screensaver on your computer desktop and the wallpaper on your smartphone so you see it often. Visions boards work, they influence your subconscious mind! Every time you look at those screens take a moment to remind yourself of your excitement and how good it will be when you reach that goal.?And most importantly remember that to achieve your goals you start with a commitment, create an action plan (break it down into small achievable steps), be ready and open to opportunities that show up.?Here’s an example of a vision board.
