Why is a Bachelor's Degree important?

The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) has recommended that the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) "change the standard to require all accredited programs after 2020 to offer a baccalaureate degree in respiratory therapy" (Respiratory Care Magazine, Vol. 56, May 2011).
