ENS Module Repair Script

Current Build V1.0.0.8

The custom package can be check-ed in to the master repository of EPO.

It sends three script files to the clients:

1. ENS_Repair_start.bat - Executed by Mcafee Agent when task runs on systems. This batch runs the Bypassredirect.ps1

2. Bypassredirect.ps1 - This ps script willl run the ENS_REPAIR_ALL_MODULES.ps1. Since McAfee Agent deployments use 32-bit CMD, it is needed to bypass this as you need 64-bit Powershell to execute the ENS_REPAIR_ALL_MODULES.ps1.

3. ENS_REPAIR_ALL_MODULES.ps1 - This is the actual repair script that runs the repair commands, sets log locations, etc.. You can see below the readme file that is added to the actual powershell script that this log generates.

Readme from the ENS_REPAIR_ALL_MODULES.ps1

ABOUT THE SCRIPT:

This powershell script is deployable via EPO using EEDK. It verifies which of the ENS components are installed and runs the needed repair command for that module.

Once All Modules have been repaired it will then update the McAfee Agent Custom Property 5 with "ENS_Repaired_Reboot" or "ENS_Failed_Repair", this is dependant if ENS Platform was repaired succesfully or not.

Powershell Script Log: C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs\McAfee_ENS_Repair_All_Modules.0.log

Powershell Script Log Notes

Will show the list of commmands ran by powershell and a snippit if they were succesfull

Can be used to verify if the actual powershell command executed or not.

Logs Location: C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs\ENS_Repair\
