Mission Committee News * 2nd Annual DAY of HOPE: We're collecting shampoo/ conditioner (all-in-one-bottles), large 30-32 oz, to give to families at the Day of Hope, Nov 2. Please bring them to Green Valley by Oct. 27. Ladies Tuesday Morning Bible Study We will begin a NEW Ladies Tues Bible Study on Oct 29. We'll be studying the book of Ephesians, by Max Lucado. The cost of the book is $7.00. After Oct 15, you will be responsible for obtaining the book, on your own. Medicare Drug Plan Help Every year the drug plans change for Missouri. It's a good idea to compare every year to find which plan is best for you. We will again offer help comparing plans based on your prescriptions. Beginning October 24 thru December 5, from 12-4 PM, every Thursday, in room 3, help will be available. All you need is your current prescription list. We have sheets you can use to fill out prior to finding a drug plan. Extra sheets are located at the Welcome Center. Have question? Call Jerry Schwichtenberg at 816-2440646. Ladies Lunch & a Movie Join us this month for Ladies Lunch & A Movie, on Thurs, Oct 31, at 12:30 PM, in rm 17. The movie will be "All Saints". It's based on the inspiring true story of salesman-turned-pastor, Michael Spurlock, the tiny church he was ordered to shut down, and a group from southeast Asia. They risked everything to plant seeds for a future that might just save them all. Bring your lunch join us for sweet fellowship with friends, new and old, and a good movie!

Wednesday Night Mid-Week Service If you're new to GV, students in grades 7 - 12, are invited to join our regular Wednesday evening `Mid-Week' service, at 6 PM.

The BRIDGE - NEW Middle School Program We have a new program, geared specifically, for middle school students, called "The Bridge". It's for 5th and 6th grade students, to help facilitate and build a "BRIDGE" from elementary classes and activities, to the GVS student ministry program. The Bridge meets on Sunday Evenings, 6 - 7:30 PM.

SAVE-THE-DATE! Mark your calendars for Dec 2-6! We'll be at East Hills Mall again, where GVBC has been involved with the Red Kettle ministry for 40+ years!
