1. Going beyond interstate integration: Development, conflict and power in South American.
2. Regional Development Banks: When Multilateralism and Regionalism meet. This project provides, from a critical political economic perspective of development, a comparative analysis of the strategies of the major Regional Development Banks within the framework of the growing tensions between multilateralism and regionalism. Themes: A conceptual framework for the study of Regional Development Banks; The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB); The Asian Development Bank (ADB); The African Development Bank (ADB).
3. Theory and Research in the Developing World. The purpose of this project is to produce a compiled work to introduce postgraduate students to some of the essentials approaches, methodologies and tools of political economic research on developing countries and development organisations. It explores the relationships between politics, theory and methodology in (various) context(s), and different frameworks for conducting research. It provides case studies and guidance as to how to take the major decisions in research in context.
