Biography

Noshin Khan is Senior Manager, Early Childhood Education at Teachers' Resource Centre, (TRC) Karachi ? Pakistan. With a Masters degree in Early Childhood Studies, from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, she is leading initiatives and projects related to training of ECE teachers at multiple forums within and beyond Pakistan. Noshin currently represents TRC in the capacity of Programme Manager on Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN), UNICEF, World Bank, Badal Do, DAI, and The Thinking Classrooms, OSF. She also leads the CACHE endorsed ECED programme where she contributes as faculty member as well. She works for the development of supplementary reading material for ECE and primary level in two languages (Urdu, English). Moreover, she has developed and co-authored training programmes for teachers, parents and caregivers.

Noshin has taught in the ECE Programs at Toronto, Canada; Sheridan College and Ryerson University. Prior to teaching at college/university level, Noshin. has eight years teaching experience at the pre-primary level at a private school in Pakistan. She has presented on ECE at international conferences held across the world. She is a lifelong member of the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario, Canada. She has coauthored a research paper on Paediatric Perspective on Diabetes Self-Care in 2014.
