I. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND INTENT:

The intent of the Pleasant Valley School District Health Education Department is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to achieve and maintain a physically active and healthful life. (Adapted from 22 Pa. Code, Chapter 4, Appendix D; Academic Standards for Health, Safety and Physical Education.
