Sailing across the Atlantic Ocean

The longest offshore race in the RORC¡¯s Season¡¯s Points Championship,

which consists of over 20 events, the RORC Transatlantic Race was originally set up as a feeder race for the popular RORC Caribbean 600 to allow

RORC members and Maxi boat owners the opportunity to race across the

Atlantic before competing in the Caribbean regatta season.

Join the Ride onboard our racing yacht ¡®BOUdragon¡¯ and experience a

fully upgraded former successful Whitbread-around-the-world racer,

named ¡°BOUdragon¡±. Ready to set a Transatlantic personal record and

participate in the Caribbean Regatta Season 2022.

The RORC Transatlantic Race

We will start the race on the 8th of January 2022 from the vulcanic Island Lanzarote. The RORC Transatlantic is one of the

most famous races accross the Atlantic Ocean in the world. An

approximately 3000 mile race from Lanzarote to the finish in

St. Lucia (Caribbean).

We are happy to offer this Transatlantic crossing

for € 7500,- per person (excl. 21% VAT)

Price includes

- Sail clothing + lifejackets / lifeline / AIS beacon

- Meals at sea (freeze dried food)

- Consumables for the yacht (fuel and water)

- P&I insurance

Price excludes

- Personal insurance

- Food / stay and travel onshore

Due to Covid-19 regulations or irresponsible

weather circumstances the event can be

rescheduled by the team of Holland Ocean

Racing.

With whom will you board?

Your captain will be the round the globe professional and

Volvo Ocean Race skipper Hans Bouscholte.

With his top-level competition experience, he is your best

choice as captain and coach to bring you and your team to

a higher level. He will bring a co-skipper and 10-12 talents

with him from the Ocean Races Academy.
