Job DescriptionJob title:Marketing and Sales Administrative AssistantResponsible to:BDMMResponsible for:N/AHours of Work:21 hrs (dates negotiable) including some unsociable hoursLocation:Leeds office base but with some regional/national travel Salary and benefits:?18700 (pro-rata)Holiday entitlement is 27 days p.a. pro rata plus bank holidays4% contributing pensionJob PurposeThis role supports the Business Development and Marketing Manager with marketing, promotion, customer service, logistical and administrative support relating to the income generating and fundraising activities of Basis Yorkshire including training, venue hire and sale of educational resources and merchandise and events. The role also ensures excellent customer service throughout the process including purchasing and enjoying our products (training, workshops, resources). Department/teamBasis Yorkshire generates income through design and deliver specialist training on social issues affecting communities today, with a specialism in Child Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Violence and working with sex workers. The training teams include qualified trainers, experienced frontline practitioners and education experts, working with partners to create bespoke CPD?-certified courses. In addition, we design and sell resources, offer venue hire and sell branded merchandise. Finally, we generate income through fundraising. Duties and key responsibilitiesDeliverySupport BDMM and trainers on design of training, workshops, resources and/or training events/conferences Ensure smooth handling of booking process and training preparation, through coordination with client and trainer on IT, travel and content of training packs and additional material providedEnsure smooth process for booking and logistical support of venue hireSupporting marketing and promotion of Basis Yorkshire income generation (training, venue hire, sales of resources and merchandise and fundraising) through development and dissemination of relevant marketing material (electronic and other) and through social media content Data input to ensure overview of upcoming training and venue hire bookings and evaluation/review of training deliveredSupport data analysis to ensure targeted sales and marketing approachPromote Basis Yorkshire at external eventsMonitoring and EvaluationCarry out relevant data entry to support monitoring and evaluation in this areaMonitor sales income against budgetMonitor training feedback performanceProduce clear and concise evaluation reportsPartnership engagement and management Assist in representing Basis Yorkshire in key stakeholder meetings relevant to the roleEnsure effective communication and with customers/stakeholders and donors4. Demonstrable experience and understanding of social mediaSKILLS AND ABILITIESGood attention to detail with accurate proof reading skills, and excellent spelling and anisational and planning skills with an ability to multi-task, lead on certain areas and meet tight deadlines;Creative thinking and writing capability and the confidence to input own ideas;Confident communicating with people face to face and over the phoneAdopt a forward thinking and solution-focused approach and make decisions under pressure Build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, suppliers and staff.?
