TITLE:Sales AssistantLAST REVISED:Dec 19, 2019REPORTS TO:Executive DirectorMETHOD OF PAY:Salary PURPOSE OF POSITION:The purpose of the Sales Assistant position is to generate awareness about Magnolia Manor’s The Lodge and to promote the retirement community and its services and to recruit residents for The Lodge with emphasis on the assisted living and independent living areas. As, Sales Assistant you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Role and Responsibility:Routinely presents and sells within the The Lodge community’s market area to potential residents & referral sourcesWorks constructively with sales team to exceed sales goals for the communityPerforms weekly external marketing callsMust be a team player and be able to increase occupancy. Develops and maintains professional selling relationships with professional referral sources within the market areaPlans and hosts community events as neededFollows up with all walk-ins, phone calls, and mail-ins in a timely and appropriate mannerMaintains the Sales Force lead management system for the communityCreates, plans and implements events such as seminars, speakers and themed eventsRuns, analyzes and distributes weekly and monthly sales reports evaluating sales performanceDevelops annual marketing and sales plan in conjunction with Sales Director and Executive DirectorMeet at a minimum weekly with team for updates of the prospect and sales list, events, leads, ads and marketing material.Support the team by completing administrative tasks as assigned by Sales Director and Executive DIrectorEducation / Experience: College degree preferred.
