Job Title: Salesforce Administrator Supervisor: Chief Financial and Administrative Officer F.L.S.A.: Non-Exempt

Summary: The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the integrity and security of the organization's Salesforce database and connected applications. The Salesforce Administrator understands and manages the system by owning day-to-day administration duties contributing to larger build outs, promoting the adoption of Salesforce and providing training for the organization. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with PCTA staff across the organization to develop and deploy business processes, reports, and technology. They will work closely with fundraising, program, and communications staff, helping them learn and integrate Salesforce and associated programs into their work. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM system including coordinating the evaluation, scope, prioritization, and completion of new development requests.

Essential job functions and tasks are: ? Serve as primary administrator for the Salesforce system and connected applications. ? Work with stakeholders across the organization with varying technology skill-sets to create standard operating procedures to ensure consistent data entry and use of Salesforce ? Create and administer training to existing or new staff and provide one to one training to end users on an on-going basis and especially during database transition to promote internal adoption. ? Create users, fields, objects, reports, dashboards, validation rules, workflow rules, permission settings, layout changes, process builder, Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, and approval processes to address and improve new and existing business needs. ? Maintain a thorough knowledge of organization's data architecture; assess and propose changes when needed ? Update and maintain user records, profiles, permissions and security. ? Maintain database and system for integrity and accuracy including backups, scripting, quality audit reports, cleansing and duplicate record management. ? Coordinate the evaluation, scope, prioritization, and completion of new development requests. ? Work with outside vendors and staff to implement more complex system build-outs and enhancements. Act as the liaison and internal project manager between our users, vendors.

Education and Training: ? 1-2 years experience within the Salesforce ecosystem - preferably in a configuration/administrative capacity but we're open to considering a super-user who has demonstrated their ability to learn quickly and grow in previous positions and is eager for an the opportunity to grow quickly into an admin role.

Experience and Qualifications: ? Excellent project management skills ? Experience with Salesforce (Lightning) and Nonprofit Success Pack

? Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

? Proficient understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality ? Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce, related applications,

systems, and processes ? Experience working with 3rd party Salesforce applications. For reference, some of the

apps PCTA currently uses include Classy, Salesforce Community, Cazoomi, Cirrus Insight, FormAssembly, Formstack Documents, and Ciero. ? Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests ? Skillful verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen ? Ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs ? Ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption for employees in different roles and with varying technology skill-sets. ? Ability to prepare detailed written system instructions and documentation for employees in different roles and with varying technology skill-sets. ? Highly proficient with Excel ? Team player mindset and excitement about working collaboratively

Physical Requirements: ? The ability to work on a computer for several hours at a time

Typical Working Conditions: The Salesforce Administrator is a PCTA headquarters employee, currently located in Sacramento, under the supervision of the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. This position is eligible to telecommute (west coast location preferred).

Equipment Used: The Salesforce Administrator will work at a desk with a desktop computer, necessary computer peripherals and other common office equipment.
