eFileCabinet Online Integration with SalesForceThe EFCO/SalesForce integration allows you to view your EFCO drawers and files through the SalesForce website. Once set up, this tool will create drawers in an EFCO cabinet of your choosing that match your contacts in SalesForce. After the initial sync, it will update files in both locations.Set Up SalesForceTo begin the setup, log into your SalesForce account. Click on the link in the article or here to install the integration app into SalesForce. Press “Continue”.3143250151828500The EFCO/SalesForce integration app can be applied to almost any of the main SalesForce sections, including: Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Cases, etc. At this step of the installation, you can choose the permissions for this app for each of the SalesForce objects listed in the following screenshot. When the record type has been selected, click “Next”.Please keep in mind that you can have multiple EFCO cabinets connected to multiple SalesForce records types; however, you should not try to link multiple cabinets to the same SalesForce record type.1819275211899500In the next screen, you choose the name for your new drawers and the profile you want associated with these items. From the first drop down menu, you are given a list of SalesForce profile items that are associated with the record type you chose in the last step. The integration app will create a name for your drawer based on the profile item you choose; one of the most common fields to use is “Name”.The second drop down list displays a list of all of the profiles you have set up in EFCO. You can choose any of them. Once you have a selected an EFCO profile, those profile items will be automatically populated below the original two drop down lists. Each of the items will have a drop down list that contains the SalesForce profile items. Select the appropriate item from the drop down for each EFCO profile item. After the drawers are created, the integration app will populate the profile data in EFCO from the information stored in SalesForce, according to your selections. Once this is completed, click “Save”.2524125291465000The SalesForce icon menu will appear automatically. Click on “Run SalesForce Sync Manually”.15240088836500In the bottom right corner of the EFCO screen, you will see the status bar. During the initial sync, EFCO is creating drawers for each of your SalesForce records and applying profile data. The sync may take several minutes, depending on the number of SalesForce items you have. When the sync is completed, the status bar will let you know. You can refresh the page by clicking on the status bar or by using EFCO’s refresh button. The newly created drawers will be in your cabinet. Refresh your SalesForce page to see the linked drawers. You are now ready to use the integration app.28194005080000 Using the Integration ToolFiles and folders have a two-way sync after the initial setup. This means that any folders you create in EFCO or any files you add will be transferred to SalesForce automatically. Likewise, any files you add to SalesForce will be transferred to EFCO. The transferred files/folders will be shown in the other application once you hit refresh. In SalesForce, you can upload files by dragging and dropping files into the dotted box. Alternatively, you can upload files by clicking on the “click here to Browse” link in the dotted box.48952151524000If you click on a file in SalesForce, a preview of the file will appear below the app window. You can also download or email any file.There is no change to how you add files/folders in EFCO. You can apply a template, create individual folders, and store files through drag and drop or through the Store icon. You can only add folders through the EFCO side.
