Dear Friends

We are to inviting you to be part of our Angel Tree Toy Drive for Christmas 2014! Each year in Franklin County, The Salvation Army helps those less fortunate with material assistance to brighten their holidays.

Participation in the Angel Tree Toy Drive will give the members of your group the opportunity to provide a new, unwrapped toy to go to a child this Christmas. We will provide a list of gender/age appropriate toys or gender/age appropriate toy tags for distribution among the members of your group.

These toys will be collected (or can be dropped off) December 8th through 12th and given away during our Christmas Cheer distribution the following week at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Your donation of these tangible gifts not only helps fill the needs of those in our community, it also gives your members a sense of “doing the most good” for others. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to give away more than 10,282 new donated toys to 5,628 families.

Each year we have a shortage of gifts for children ages 8-14, both boys and girls and young children 1 to 2 years old. We would appreciate any groups who would like to specialize in that age group. Please just indicate that choice on your application so that we are aware of your choice.

Enclosed is a copy of the information/fact sheet about the Angel Tree Toy Drive as well as an application for participation. To fill out the form online, download our “fillable pdf” at christmas.

Please take special note of the dates indicated on the application. A timely return of the application assures us that we will be able to help all those that come to our doors during this Christmas season.

Thank you so much for your consideration of this worthwhile project!

Blessings!
