Grading Rubric: A grading rubric is language that expresses a well-established custom or set of rules that provides the guideline for how grades are given for performances, such as papers, essays, test answers or oral examinations. In this case, the grading rubric below applies to undergraduate philosophy research papers that are assigned in advance with a specific due date as part of a course requirement.

The table below represents a summary of issues that philosophical papers at every level of proficiency address:
