As the homeless crisis in Silicon Valley continues to grow despite a booming economy, Family Supportive Housing provides warm and safe shelter, goal-oriented services, and nutritional meals that empower homeless families in Santa Clara County to achieve self-sufficiency. Family Supportive Housing operates the San Jose Family Shelter, which is the only emergency shelter in Santa Clara County that serves entire families, whether they’re two parent, single mother or single father families. The event’s keynote speaker is a former resident of the San Jose Family Shelter, who has overcome homelessness with the help of Family Supportive Housing.
