Taking standardized tests can be intimidating and stressful, but they don't have to be. Lone Star College helps students prepare by offering test preparation classes, which include instruction in subjects such as reading, writing and math. Students will leave with a better understanding of the testing format and subject material in which they will be tested.

In addition, students can also take the ACT, SAT, THEA, COMPASS, ACCUPLACER, GED, and other college-entrance or placement exams at a Lone Star College campus or center.
