|This is a science-fiction RP with a slight supernatural twist. |
| |
|This is the premise: |
| |
|There exists a large installation known as Pelvanida Complex out in the middle of the Nevada desert. This installation |
|focuses on creating the next generation of soldiers as well as weapons research. The experiments run the gamut from |
|cybernetics to biological enhancement and even psionics. But there has been a disaster, a radical anti-technology terrorist |
|group has attacked the facility and cut it off from the outside world. The experiments and scientists are attempting to |
|resist but they are being systematically killed by the terrorists. An elite group of soldiers have been sent in to deal with |
|the threat, but they underestimate the resources of the terrorists. |

|Gameplay info: |
| |
|You can play as the soldiers, experiments, scientists or terrorists. |
| |
|Scientists - have access to all areas of the base and thus access to the advanced weaponry but they are physically weak and |
|have no combat related skills. |
| |
|Soldiers - have access to small weaponry (small arms, grenades and the like) from the onset and have access to many combat |
|related skills but have limited access to areas in the base. |
| |
|Psi-Experiments - have psionic powers but have almost no access to areas in the base and are not too good with technology. |
|They also have no combat related skills. |
| |
|Cyber-Experiments - masters of technology and have a cybernetic enhancement. But have almost no access to various areas. No |
|combat related skills. |
| |
|Terrorists - play similar to the soldiers except they have access to heavier weaponry from the onset and don't have access to|
|as much combat related skills. |
| |
|NOTE: Hybridization is not allowed. IE, you can't play as a combination of a Cyber and Psi Experiment. |
|NOTE: Scientists do not have access to heavier weapons from the onset. They have be armed with a pistol or an improvised |
|weapon from the onset. |
|NOTE: Experiments have to be either unarmed or at most, armed with an improvised weapon from the onset. |
|NOTE: Experiments can side with the terrorists (resentment over being created, perhaps?) |
|NOTE: Soldiers and scientists are on the same side. |
|NOTE: All factions may use small arms (scientists and experiments included). |
|NOTE: Only soldiers and terrorists may use heavier weaponry (RPGs, missile launchers, etc.) |
|NOTE: Auto hitting is forbidden if a character (even unnamed) appears in more than 3 posts. |

|angry, and physically able, He joined to USMC were he could start over. He figured that with the USMC he would have |
|food, a place to sleep, and something to keep him busy. He was defiantly right. many years later he is now an elite NCO. |
|He has been to the middle east multiple times and would have been happy to go back again had he not been offered an even |
|better position. throughout his service, He has has been known to do whatever it took to get a job done. He has been |
|reported to have used improvised weapons such as a lead pipe or smashed bottles on multiple occasions. there were even |
|rumors going around his last platoon that he joined the USMC just so he could kill people. Despite the generally cold and |
|emotionless side of himself that he tends to show, He keeps his friends close, and wouldn't hesitate to lay down his life |
|for his buddies. |

|(OOC - I'll start off for the scientists.) |
| |
|James Zanasiu had locked himself inside his lab. Although he was 4 levels below the surface, he was still worried that the |
|terrorists could come for him. He walked to the back of the room, opened a cabinet and retrived a fire ax. He then crouched |
|behind one of the far lab tables. |
| |
|"I don't think the terrorists are here yet, but still can't be too careful." he said. His lab assistant, an anthro Cassowary |
|who was clutching a beaker of acid nodded. He was crouched behind a lab table closest to the door. |
| |
|Suddenly, James heard knocking on the door and almost immediately after a series of knocks; an explosion knocked down the |
|door and a Human terrorist, armed with a single 9 mm pistol, rushed in and immediately shot and killed two other lab |
|assistants who did not take cover quickly enough. The terrorist then shot another lab assistant who was running towards the |
|back room but before the terrorist could make the second and fatal shot, the Cassowary leapt from his hiding place and threw |
|his beaker of acid into the terrorist's face. |

|The man fell to the floor, screaming only for a moment before James ran up to him and killed him with the ax. |
| |
|"Oh, gah, I think I'm going to be sick!" James said, looking at the man's disfigured face and the huge wound caused by the |
|ax. He then ran to a nearby sink and vomited. |
| |
|"James, are you ok?" the Cassowary asked. |
| |
|"I'm fine, it's just I've never killed anyone before. Yeah, I've shot a gun at the target range but that's it." James |
|replied. |
| |
|"Well, then I guess this guy's pistol should be perfect for you. I'd take it but I've never shot a gun." the Cassowary said. |
| |
|"Yeah, even if we are going to flee we need some protection." James said. He picked up the pistol and rooted through the |
|man's pockets. He came away with another 15 round magazine, which he placed in his pocket. |
| |
|The Cassowary shrugged and picked up the fire ax that James had dropped. |
| |
|"Well then, since this area has few terrorists, let's go see if we can go and recruit a few scientists or some experiments. |
|Maybe then we can secure this building ourselves." James said. |
| |
|"Yeah, maybe." the Cassowary replied. |
| |
|James and his Cassowary lab assistant left the lab and headed down the hallways to where the other labs were. |

|And a few labs down...Boom! "Gaaaah! Damn it! I just can't get this fricken thing to work right. By the time I do, I'll |
|have singed my eyebrows off!" Ender was in the mechanics lab, working on his so-called "Revolutionary Upgrade". So far, |
|it was becoming a "Blow You Entire Arm Off If You Try To Use It Upgrade". Ender had several years under his belt of |
|mechanics. He believed in trial and error. As off late, it's been one error after another. Ender didn't really pay |
|attention to the whole situation with the terrorists, which many said would be the death of him. He mearly shrugged. He |
|heard footsteps nearby and poked his head out the door. He still had his special glasses on, so that made him look |
|absolutely rediculous. In other words, his eyes looked the size of tennis balls. Ender noticed the two scientists coming |
|his way and waved to them. "Oy! What's the hurry?!" |

|Makir sat quietly in one side of his room. Of course if he was able to think properly the room would appear much more like a |
|cell than a room. There was one door, which led to one of the psionics labs and a small window far up on the wall to let in |
|some light. For furniture the tidy white room had a small cot, a chair with a small table, and a toilet. |
| |
|Despite the conditioned of his room, Makir did not mind his room, in fact he did not mind anything much at all. Because of |
|the nature of his powers, he was not allowed to hold a train of thought for more than a few minutes. A device was hooked up |
|to his head, which was supplied power through a large cable connected to the ceiling, that administered a small electric |
|shock every few minutes, though never on a set pattern. |
| |
|Makir was smiling with his usual smile. If anyone besides the scientists were allowed to see him, he would most likely be |
|viewed as a simpleton. Makir was just gaining a train of thought, and the smile disappeared from his face, and he began to |
|scowl. Within the instant his mind was mildly shocked and his thoughts were scattered. The next second another shock was sent|
|to Makir. |

|Only this time something seemed to be terribly wrong. Makir was hit with about 4 times the normal amount of electricity. He |
|fell to his knees and screamed loudly, though no one would probably hear. After a moment the pain was gone, and Makir stood |
|up, his thoughts completely awakened after two years. He saw the flickering lights above and could guess what was going on. |

|Makir smiled, a true smile, the one that he had longed to smile for over a year now, and sat down in the chair. He had waited|
|too long for this moment to do anything rash to draw attention to himself now. He could wait for someone to open the door to |
|his cell. |
| |
|Faintly in the lab a clatter could be heard as the neural disruptor clattered to the floor. |

|“Sargent Garrelli, Are you there? Over,” a familiar voice said over the raidio. Garrelli opened his eyes and saw nothing. |
| |
|“Hello, We have your Sargent. If we see any more US military he will die,” A voice said. It wasn’t an American accent. |
|Garrelli could hear the sound of the radio being turned off. |
| |
|His hands were restrained. He could feel hot sand underneath himself. “What happened?” He thought. Then he remembered. |
| The Black Hawk had been shot down. He must have been the only survivor. The terrorists started speaking in a foreign |
|language. He could hear them toying with his knife. |
| |
|“Hey! Get up!” One said roughly, kicking Michael in the back with a steal toed boot. |
| |
|Garrelli sat upright, several cuts and bruises became suddenly apparent. The air was hot and devoid of all moisture. He |
|felt two pairs of hands grab him by either side and lift him to his feet. Michael stumbled a bit but quickly got his |
|balance. His blindfold was removed, letting the sun into his eyes. The two terrorists were wearing gas masks, but had |
|no filters. One of them was pointing the M-16 at him. The other was off moving supplies. |
| |
|“Don’t try anything!” The one in front of him shouted. “I’m going to hand you this Radio, I want you to tell them we have |
|you, and not to send people in. Do it or I shoot!” |
| |
|The terrorist Turned on the radio with his left hand and held it up to Garrelli’s ear while pointing the M-16's bayonet at |
|his chest. |
| |
|“Hello, This is Staff Sargent Garrelli, I am being held by two terrorists, they say that if you send in more people they |
|are going to–,” He stopped mid sentence. Gerrelli rushed past the barrel of the M-16 and used the duct tape around his |
|wrists to choke the terrorists. The man put up a good struggle but the Sargent had him dead in moments. He grabbed the |
|M-16 from the dead terrorist and rushed up to the one still alive. Michael turned his entire body to the side, and then |
|launched the butt of the rifle into his opponent temple with full force. His opponent dropped to the ground, paralyzed or|
|dead. The Sargent used the bayonet to cut the duct tape off his wrists. All of his equipment was sitting on the tailgate |
|of a truck along with the Dogtags from those fallen in his platoon. He began to arm himself. |

|Serathano was working in the loading docks when the lights flashed for the first time. The scientists didnt have to worry |
|about him breaking anything normally because there was one monitor, and a strength and speed supressor system attacked to his|
|wrists and ankles. When the lights went out and came back on, the supressor field was gone.. The huge crate taht he had been |
|struggling with became light as a featehr and flew across the room unwittingly. The Monitor came down out of the control room|
|with a stun stick in his hands. He jabbed Serathano with it thinking that it would be a single touch knock out. With all of |
|his super dense muscle however, seratnano barely felt a thing, He took teh stun stick and crumpled it, then ripped off the |
|shackles very easily. He was about to start argueing with the scientist when the man's radio went off. |
| |
| "Back up! We need Backup. Terrorists have broken intot eh facility and are killing everyone in sight." Serathano Looked at |
|the man's startled face and rethought his decision to chew him out sicne he was defenceless. |
| |
| "You know, i'll help you out if you can garuntee me one little thing."Serathano said to teh now frightened man. |
| "And what would that be Serathano. What could you do for me that i cant do for myself. All you are is an experiment. You |
|donthave wants or needs." The sceintist was a thickbodied crab anthromorph and he was jabbing Serathano in teh stomach with |
|his shell covered fingers. |
| "I Want freedom. If i help you guys out, i want to be a free person. I will guard you, and kill for you. But you will give |
|me 100% freedom after this incident. Agreed? If not, i can always kill you now, and get it over with." Serathano Smiled at |
|him and Flexed his hands. |
| The man shuddered and llooked around. "You know, i guess thats alright, just find something as a weapon and make sure that i|
|dont die alright?" |
| |
| "Will do." Serathano walked over to a wall and pressed his ear up against it. Listening. He walked along until he heard a |
|sound that he liked. He put his hand through teh wall and pulled out a sheet of eletrical box covering. He bent it into a |
|elongated shape and ripped off the edges making a kind of imprompeteu blade. He then got a few pieces of pipe and crushed |
|them around the base to make a handle. he rubbed the edge against the floor to give it a rough edge and the told the |
|scientist to follow him. The fellow was quite amazed. The eperiments got to watch movies one a week by block number. |
|Obviously Serathano had seen a fighting film and had practiced and imagined in all of his free time. Hurrying to keep up, |
|Acker clicked along behind Serathano, eager to stay alive. |

|"We're forming an impromptu search party so we can clear this building and possibly assist the soldiers." the Cassowary said.|

|"Do you have any thing you can use as a weapon?" James asked, "If so join us, even if you don't join us and we'll get you a |
|weapon." |

|In the lab just outside of Makir's room, two scientists watched the door leading into the hallway. Neither thought to check |
|on the experiment that they monitored. |

|A minute later they realized their mistake as the door to the cell began to glow bright red. Suddenly it collapsed inward |
|flew across the room and knock one of the guards unconscious. |
| |
|"W-why?" stammered the other leveling a fire extinguisher at Makir, who had just stepped over the threshold. |
| |
|"You took me from my happy, normal little life. I was taken for these experiments to help you understand the how, and why of |
|my gifts." He cackled slightly and leveled a look at the scientist. |
| |
|"You have gone mad!" the scientist yelled, his fear leaving him unable to control his volume. |
| |
|"Perhaps I have. Yet if I have lost what you call sanity, it was only by your hands. I will get my vengeance." Makir glared |
|at him, a second later his expression changed almost completely. "Actually I find vengeance to be a bit dull and predictable,|
|perhaps I shall just leave you unconscious while I make my break for freedom." With that he walked up from behind the |
|scientist, having set a illusion into his mind during the conversation, and hit him with a broom handle. He calmly turned and|
|walked over to the hall. |

|Moving rapidly the fox vanished as a shadow from the room, while the scientist fell to his knees, and eventually his face. |

|Ender looked at the two scientists. "No, I don't have a weapon. If my failed tests could be considered a weapon, they'd be |
|damn near considered grenades! I do have some other skills. If we were to get out of here, we'd need to lockdown the main |
|computer. If you can get me to a main terminal, I can put a heavy encription on it. Think you two are capable of that?" If|
|there's another thing Ender had a habit of, it was pissing people off. |

|said. He was obviously irritated. |

|"Ken, calm down! There should be a guard station somewhere here. We can arm ourselves and any other allies if we find them." |
|James said, looking at his lab assistant. "Uh, Ender can you use a gun?" |

|Makir slipped through the halls like a shadow. He clearly was not picking sides, as the trail of unconscious bodies leading |
|from the lab were terrorists, experiments, and scientists alike. |

|He looked at the rust colored tip of his broomstick and smiled. He was proud of his sneaking tactics, clouding his targets |
|minds and striking with all of his force from behind. His smile fell into a pout the next second. He realized he was bored |
|with this sneaking around. He decided to join the next group he found and help them until he became bored again. |

|He walked out to the middle of the hall and leaned against his broomstick to wait. |

|Garrelli looked over the small campsite, there wasn’t a whole lot that could be used. He searched the bodies of the dead |
|terrorists, and found one fragmentation grenade and one concussion grenade. The second one had a set of keys. The Sargent |
|grabbed the radio, then walked to the pickup truck. |
| |
|“This is Staff Sargent Garrelli, The black hawk was shot down, I am the only survivor. I’ve killed the two terrorists |
|mentioned earlier,” Garrelli said without taking a breath. He opened the door to the old chevy and climbed in. “I am now |
|in route to our original destination, via a ground vehicle, Over,” Michael said into the handheld radio. |

|“Negative, We are sending in a helicopter now to bring reinforcements and to pick you up, you’ve been through eno– |
|*click*,” The Sargent wasn’t about to quit this mission. His platoon had never failed an assaignment yet. He would finish |
|this mission or die trying. Michael jammed the key into the ignition. The tires made a loud screech as he tore off into the|
|desert, using the sun for direction. 30 minutes later he arrived at the labs. He slowed down and stopped behind a sand |
|dune. The Sargent opened the door and stepped out. Sweat rolled down his forehead. Michael grabbed his M-16 out of the |
|passenger side and made his way towards the facility. There didn’t apear to be much happening on the surface. The lab’s |

|Makir waited patiently at the point. He eventually saw a tall wolf leave a room marked guard post carrying a pistol. While he|
|had agreed to ally the next group to come by, he did not like the way this wolf looked. Decided to go for a loophole in his |
|own logic, he wacked the wolf in the face as he ran past knocking him onto his back. The wolf groan loudly until he delivered|
|a two handed blow with his makeshift weapon. |

|The wolf lay silent his forehead bleeding heavily. After all Makir had said he would join the next group, while this wolf was|
|clearly a solitary person. He leaned against the wall to wait. |

|Serathano jogged slowly down the halls asking for directions occasionaly. |

|Acker shouted ahead to Serathano, "There is a guard post up ahead, we can probably arm ourselves thereI can get a gun and you|
|can get....whatever." The rounded the corner to see a small group of terrorists come out of the guard post. Acker ducked back|
|around the corner to hide. One of the terrorists fired off a couple rounds at Serathano thinking that he would be an easy |
|target. His superdense muscle allowed him to mave faster than anyone could blink. He used the flat of the blade to stop teh |
|bullets with his palm behind it to support the leverage. In under half a second, he was in them. There were three armed with |
|rifles and a fourth with the pistol. He stabbed the pistolier through his center and pulled out the man's combat knife. he |
|then opened two of the other's throats before the last noticed and turned to shoot. I was too late for him however because |
|Serathano ripped his head to teh side and broke his neck clean in half. The man slumped to the floor. |

|Acker peeked out to see Serathano standing alone inside a ring of death. "I-I-I-I-I g-g-guess you kno-o-o-ow how to |
|f-f-fight. Uhm," he gulped "wow" He carefully got closer and stepped over the bodies and into the Guard center. All the |
|computers were torn up and everything else was riddled with bullets. He came back out and took up an automatic rifle. |
|Serathano took all their combat knives and a pistol. He discarded the makeshift sword by leaving it in the first to become a |
|corpse. Together they continued down teh hall, ready to face anything that would confront them. Serathano was twirling one of|
|the knives around his hand, ready, able, and willing to kill anything between him, and total freedom. |

|Makir had watched the two figures take out a much larger crowd. He had made a shield around himself that would cause people |
|to not notice him by combining both a psi shield, and a telepathic power. He walked up to the door that the two had gone into|
|and knocked on the door. Immediately his shield fell away to make himself visible. |

|Garrelli crouched down, there were multiple vehicles outside the small building. He stared for a moment, there were no |
|targets in sight. This was not the main entrance, it was more of an emergency exit disguised as an old broken down |
|house. No doubt the terrorists were sending in their squads from both ends and meeting at the middle after killing |
|everything in their path. |

| The Sargent stood and ran at the building, taking cover behind a truck until he could be sure the area was clear. A |
|vulture flew over the area sending a shadow over the Marine that made him flinch. He was on edge. Michael held his breath |
|to stop the noise. He could hear faint conversation coming from within the building. He stood and approached the door, |
|their voices suddenly stopped. His heart was racing, sweat rolled down his bald head. He heard the sound of a pistol side|
|moving back on the other side of the wooden door. The 180 pound man kicked in the door and crouched. He squeezed the |
|trigger twice, and two terrorists lay dead on the floor. Shouting came from down the hall in a foreign language. Garrelli|
|stood and backed up against the wall. The Marine shouldered his M-16 and look out his Colt service pistol. A shotgun barrel|
|appeared around the corner. Before it had a chance to point in his direction, the marine grabbed it with his right arm |
|and pulled past him. The terrorist on the other end was surprised and only barley caught his balance. A Magnum |
|hallow-point shot through the air and into the terrorists heart. The man dropped to the ground leaving the shotgun in |
|Garrelli’s right hand. Another man appear from around the corner armed with a 22 rifle, however, the butt end of the shotgun|
|hit him between the eyes before he knew what was happening. |

| The Sargent stood there panting, his heart racing, beads of sweat dropping to the ground. The room went quiet, it was |
|over. The marines muscles relaxed, he stood and walked to down the hallway. There was no telling if they were able to |
|sound the alarm, he needed to get out of the area fast. There was a small ventilation shaft he could use to drop into a |
|different floor. The blueprints from the missions briefing shot through his mind. He made a left turn in the hallway and |
|entered what looked a lot like a little boy’s bedroom. Sure enough, the shaft was right were the prints said it was. The|
|cover snapped off easily, Garrelli climbed in and snapped the cover back into place. Slowly, Garrelli moved down the |
|ventricle shaft into the darkness below. |

|room. there they saw a lone terrorist. he immediatly shot the trainer as lutra froze time. *you dont harm my trainer, or you |
|die!* he immediatley apeared behind the terrorist and used his telekinisis to get his gun. he held it to his head and unfroze|
|time after changng the path of the bullet. then he fired into the terrorists skull. |

|James readied his pistol and searched the lab. He searching the back part of the lab when spotted by a terrorist about 20 |
|feet away but before the man could raise his weapon and fire; James put 2 bullets into the man's head, killing him. He |
|immediately ran to the slain terrorist and ransacked his body; he came away with a Remington 870 shotgun and 10 shotgun |
|shells. |

|"Ender! I got something for you!" James said. He walked over to Ender and handed the shotgun and the shells over to Ender. |

|Suddenly, the sound of a struggle could be heard from the back closet where Ken was supposed to be checking. |

|The Sargent came to a stop, He had reached the bottom of the shaft and was just over a vent. A loud noise that sounded |
|something like spinning blades of death startled him. The Marine twitched and fell down the remaining three feet, |
| crashing through the vent and dropping another eight feet into the hallway. Garrelli moaned in pain and cursed at the air |
|conditioner as he sat upright. He was now on the 4rth floor. The Sargent become once again alert, checking his |
|surroundings. There didn’t appear to be anyone around. He placed his right hand behind his back and lifted himself up off|
|the ground. The Marine checked the barrel of the 20 gauge he had taken earlier. It had a slug loaded into it. He closed |
|the barrel and brought the butt of the shotgun up into his shoulder as he approached the corner. |

|Garrelli’s heart rate rose as he approached the corner. Someone was coming his way. He gripped the shotgun and got ready. |
|Suddenly Dragore came barreling around the corner. The sargent was trigger happy and fired the shotgun, but was able to |
|pivot last second to avoid hitting the experiment.. “You might want to start running human you won't like what’s behind me,” |
|The Dragon yelled while charging past him. The Marine dropped the shotgun to the ground and pulled a fragmentation grenade |
|from his belt. He could hear people approaching the corner fast. Sweat rolled down his face, his heart rate rose, and his |
|muscles tensed. Michael pulled the pin on the grenade and chucked it at the wall as hard as he could, bouncing it around the|
|corner. He heard multiple screams as it landed. He could hear them running the other direction. The Grenade exploded, |
| But killed none of them. Garrelli crouched and brought the stock of his M-16 up to his right shoulder and started firing |
|through the smoke. The terrorists would have had to have turned around and ran to avoid the explosion, which meant they were|
|still facing the other direction. He flipped the switch to full auto and unloaded his entire magazine into the smoke. When|
|it cleared, There were 9 dead terrorists on the ground. Garrelli stood up. His heart was still pounding. |

|a moment and took a breath. “Who are you?” The Sargent said, his voice very deep. Garrelli leaned against the wall and |
|thought about his situation. What he would now have to do was more along the lines of what Army personnel were trained to |
|do. He wasn’t meant to protect, he was meant only to kill. He thought hard about the situation. Eventually resolved to |
|take what would happen as it came. |

|Marine Picked up another AK to use in place of the shotgun. He pulled the clips from the other AKs for amunition. |

|Ken was inside the closet where Ender kept the various spare parts. He had been checking the closet when a man, armed with a |
|stolen M-16, attemped to shoot him. a swift blow with the butt of the ax disoriented his attacker. The sequence of Ken and |
|the man attacking and blocking repeated itself for what seemed like an eternity. |

|Ken used his ax to block the man's attack. He then kicked at attacker, opening a deep gash on the man's leg. The man flinched|
|and Ken prepared to deliver a fatal kick to the man's stomach. When he threw the kick, his large toe claw struck the trauma |
|plate of the man's body armor. Ken flinched as the recoil of the impact spread through his foot. The man then knocked Ken |
|down and placed him in a chokehold. |

|(OOC- if you are wondering why Ken's kick to the man was going to be fatal, it's because he's a Cassowary. Cassowaries have |
|claws on their feet and a 5 inch claw on their innermost toe capable of gutting a Human.) |

|means these scientists too,” The Sargent said almost unsympatheticly. He approached the next corner and listened for more |
|activity. Garrelli had been through quite a bit in his childhood, he didn’t exactly know how to handle youth. The only |
|thing he cared about was compleating what was originally his mission before more Marines showed up to finish his job. The |
|terrorists killed his entire platoon apart from him. It would be him that finished the job assigned to what was the only |
|family he had. |

|"Are you crazy? Experiment 0465 is dangerous, its electrokinetic abilities can turn any source of electricity into a potent |
|weapon." the Dhole responded. |

|The human gave the Dhole the dirtiest look he could muster. "Listen, a-hole, Hunter is like a brother to me. If you lay a paw|

|The Dhole gulped, he had never imagined that his fellow psionics researcher would insult him, let alone threaten him. |

|The Human walked over to the door and entered the passcode. "Hunter. I need your help!" he said. |

|Hunter walked out of his room. "Alright, Zach. So what shall I do?" he asked, addressing the Human. |

|Zach reached inside the pocket of his labcoat and handed Hunter a AAA battery. "I trust you that you won't shock me with |
|this?" he said. |

|"Yeah. I would never shock a brother." Hunter replied, clutching the battery. |

|Suddenly, voices were heard outside the door. "Open up. We know you freaks are in there!" a voice shouted. A loud thump was |
|heard and the door creaked. |

|"Ok, we're ready to go." the Dhole said. He switched the safety of his pistol to "off". |

|Hunter's body was sheathed in a corona of blue electricity. |

|A second thump was heard and the door fell in and several terrorists rushed in. The Dhole fired 5 times, killing 2 terrorists|
|before his pistol jammed. While he was clearing the jam, a terrorist shot him several times in the chest. But before he died |
|he shot a terrorist in the head, immediately killing him. Hunter killed the rest of the terrorists by drawing electricity |
|from the battery he held and electrocuting the rest of the terrorists. |

|"Zach, take the dead guy's pistol. I'll take the...ow!" Hunter said, recoiling as he grabbed a terrorist's AK-47, "I don't |
|know if their weapons work now. I think I melted some parts." he said. |

|Zach took the dead scientist's pistol and gave the crowbar to Hunter. They then left the room and headed down the hall. |
|Unbeknownst to them, they were heading to where James, Ken and Ender were located. |

|mixed feelings about the situation. On one hand he didn’t want to hurt the small boy, he knew what It was like to loose |
|family. But on the other hand he knew that the pain he went through helped him to become what he was today. His mind went|
|to his platoon, his family. Nothing he did here was going to bring them back, He knew and understood that. But finishing |
|this mission meant the world to him. To have it said that the platoon had never failed a mission was something he wanted |

|kill. He approached the next corner and turned it swiftly, crouching down and using the corner for partial cover. There |

|James rushed into the room where Ken was currently being held hostage. Ender was already holding the man at gunpoint but he |
|still seemed to to be uncooperative. James held his pistol to the man's head. |

|"Listen, drop the lab assistant and your gun or you get it." James hissed. |

|"A scientist threatening a soldier? Get real." the terrorist said, chuckling. |
| |
|"When that scientist has gun to your head, you better listen and in case you didn't notice there is another scientist with a |
|gun behind you. Now drop your weapon and my lab assistant or there is going to be a few new holes in your head." James said. |

|The terrorist turned around and found himself facing the muzzle of a Remington 870 shotgun and an angry Jackal; he turned the|
|other direction and found himself facing an even angrier Human scientist wielding a Colt .45. He released Ken. Ken wasted no |
|time in grabbing his ax. |

|The terrorist sighed and dropped his M-16. "Everything!" Ken demanded. He held the ax over the terrorist's head. The |
|terrorist took off his body armor and tossed 2 20 round magazines for the M-16 on the ground. |
| |
|Almost immediately after the man dropped the magazines; Ken kicked the man in the stomach, his 5 inch inner toe claw burying |
|itself in his stomach. The man fell to the ground, clutching his stomach. |

|"Ken, was that necessary?" James asked. He had a slight look of revulsion on his face as he looked at the spreading pool of |
|blood. |
| |
|"When you've been held in a chokehold and you don't want to kill the guy who did that to you. Then I say you have some |
|issues." Ken retorted. |

|"I'm not going to argue that point." James said. He picked up the man's M-16 and the magazines. He slung the M-16 across his |
|back and pocketed the magazines. |

|Garrelli’s head lowered casting eerie shadows over his eyes. A quick tug and a flash grenade was free from his belt. The |
|Sargent pulled the pin and waited. One off the terrorists raised his rifle to smack it into 009. Garrelli’s heart rate |
|flew. The terrorist brought his rifle down to ram it into the experiment, but was hit in the face by a flash grenade the |
|exploded only a half second later. All the terrorists were now, at least temporarily, blind. Garrelli Grabbed the short and|
|skinny one in front of him, using him as a shield as he blew the other three away shot by shot with his Colt. The terrorists|
|returned fire but were blind and disoriented which resulted in bullets flying in every direction. Several of the bullets |
|entered the body of Garrelli’s meat shield, a few of which came out the other side at a much slower rate just to be stopped |
|by the body armor. |

|A massive gap appeared in the chest of one of the terrorists. Garrelli was using Magnum hallow-points. |
| |
|Several shots later all were dead on the ground, missing large portions of their bodies. Garrelli grabbed his human shield |
|by the back and slammed him into the wall several times out of sheer anger. Garrelli was saturated in sweat. It was only |
|then that he noticed the multiple hits in his chest that had been stopped by the mixture of his shield and the Dragonskin. |

|looked up at Zach casualy as if nothing had just happened. Michael assumed the worst when it came to 009, but something in |
|the back of his mind kept nagging him to check. "Can you give me a Sitrep? What all do you know?" the Marine said walking|
|past Zach to inspect 009. He bent down and place his hand on the tiny Dragon's chest to check for a pulse. If he had been |
|awake when that flash grenade had gone off it most likely would have given him enough pain to go into a mild shock. |

|into the terrorist's face, killing him. |

|to kill in order to protect innocents. The Marine stared vacantly at Dragore as these thoughts ran through his mind. He |
|would be 11 by now the Marine thought. A tear rolled down his cheek. He didn’t bother to wipe it away, he was too deep in |
|thought to even notice it. When Michael was 19 he fell in love with a girl while studying in France. He brought her back |
|with him to the States and got married like some old Hollywood movie. Six months later she left the house without a note. |
|He didn’t hear from her again until she served him divorce papers. She had only used him to get into the country and become |
|a citizen. Not only did she successfully take, “her half,” She called him several months later to inform him that he would |
|soon be responsible to pay child support for a boy. Memories flashed through his mind. A month after that he joined the |
|Marine Corps. After a few tours in the middle east the Marine Corps put him in his current platoon. He ate slept and talked|

|that, just pull the forstock back and let it slide back forward, then pull the trigger. It's going to be hard to miss with|
|that thing," Garrelli said with a grin. He turned to walk forward but stopped. "oh, and make sure to lean a bit |
|forward... i couldn't tell you how many people i've seen make that mistake the first time..." he sighed, thinking back to|

|them. Zach was giving th directions becuase he knew the layout better than anyone. |

|Hunter stuck his finger into the nearest outlet. He concentrated and all he managed to do was fire a powerful lightning bolt |
|that ignited a trash can. |

|Zach sighed, grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. |

|"Sorry. I can't 'ride the lightning'." Hunter said, "I don't think I ever will be able to. My powers are not limited, they |
|are already at peak." |

|Zach was looking at a door that had been kicked in. He readied his AK-47 and gently moved the broken door aside. He entered |
|the office and found a body, a scientist with a Colt .45 pistol. He checked the body and came away with a fully loaded pistol|
|and a DVD. |

|"Find anything?" Hunter asked. He was looking into the utility closet. |
| |
|"Just a DVD and a pistol." Zach replied. |
| |
|He booted up the computer and placed the DVD in. Instantly a movie began to play. The face of the same scientist who had been|
|killed in the office popped up. |
| |
|"If you find this DVD, know that I have been killed in an act of violence. Perhaps by terrorists, perhaps by an experiment |
|gone wrong, perhaps by another scientist. But no matter how I died, remember, I live on in my experiments and my work." the |
|scientist said. |
| |
|The DVD then cut to two words: Tesla's Okapi. |
| |
|"Strange." Zach said. |
| |
|"No, not strange at all! It refers to me! Think about it, I'm an Okapi and I am electrokinetic." Hunter replied. |

|"Guys! Could you come in here!" Zach called out to Makir and Acker. |

|chocolate bar and offered it to Dragore and ate the rest of the chocolate bar. "Garrelli, do you want the chocolate?" he |
|asked, offering the other bar. |

|Hunter picked up the bag of chips, opened it and devoured the entire bag. He then tossed the bag in the remains of the trash |
|can and washed his hands. "Zach, did you find those shotgun shells in the fridge?" |

|a hatch in the ceiling. |

|Hunter reacted as quickly as he could and shorted it out. Suddenly more turrets started to lower and aim. |

|expanded as he ate "mmm this is so good" he heres the gun shots but ignores them as he eats "mmm my tummy is now full" he ate|

|scan. The light on the lock flashed green and the doors steadily creaked open. |

|Serathano had been quietly watching the goings on and put a knife in each hand as teh doors opened. it was time to |
|demonstrate his power to the scientists and the others. The instant that door opened, he would be inside destroying any |
|hostile in sight. |

|The doors were now almost fully open and the interior of the weapons lab was visible, but there seemed to be no one present. |

|"I don't know if they..." Hunter began but was cut off by a burst of gunfire coming from inside the weapons lab. Suddenly, it|
|seemed like the terrorists appeared from nowhere, coming out from behind crates and other pieces of lab equipment! |

|"There are terrorists in there!" Zach shouted. He dove behind a cart containing a steel crate and returned fire, killing a |
|terrorist. |

|Hunter immediately dropped prone and returned fire. |

| At the first sound of gunfire, time seemed to slow for Serathano. He pushed his cybernetically enhanced muscles into action|
|and could feel his legs pounding against the floor even though he knew that no one else could even see him doing it. In half |
|a second, he was across the room behind the terrorist line. the first terrorist that was in his reach for his whole body |
|smashed into the floor. he used his knives to carve a path through the terrorists giving the rest of his team a chance to |
|return fire. bullets were nothing for him to dodge and it was useless to try and dodge his own attacks. that is why it came |
|as such a huge surprise when a large slug tore through his left arm, just barely missing the bone. |
| He looked to see what had shot him just before spreading his wings in the large area that he had created, and soar/running |
|back to the softy of his own team's line. the shooter's poorly aimed second shot ended Acker's life as he was panicking and |
|running away from the fight. Serathano ducked behind a door further down the hallway and tore a strip out of the shirt that |
|he was wearing to make a bandage. moving his arm was impossible at this point so another strip became a sling. he quickly |
|peeked back at the fight so see that it was going well enough except that the man who had shot him, was keeping everyone else|
|pinned down. Serathano selected a knife and threw it catching the man underneath the eye. |
| He instantly collapsed and Serathano allowed himself to rest. |

|Garrelli let out a deep sigh. Time seemed to slow down. He pushed the scientist with the mine strapped to him into the |
|room. He kept his hed low but took several regular rounds to the chest area in the process. He ducted out of the way and |
|rolled horizontly to get as far away as possible from the door. "Get down!" The Sargent screamed at the top of his lungs, |
|only to have his voice drown out by the mine being detonated by a gunshot. Even if the mine wasn't armed, it still |
|contained the small amount of extreamly sensitive explosive inside of it used to detonate the rest of the explosive. |

|Hunter made his way to the crate that Zach was crouched behind. |
| |
|They heard Garrelli shout something and they instinctively covered their ears as soon as they saw the rogue scientist forced |
|into the room. |
| |
|A loud explosion soon tore through the air. |
| |
|"Hunter! Keep shooting! I'll check on Serathano!" Zach shouted. He quickly fired of the rest of his magazine and swiftly |
|reloaded his rifle and he headed over to Serathano. |
| |
|Hunter popped his head up over the crate and he noticed that only a few terrorists were still standing, the rest were killed |
|or seriously injured. He saw a terrorist aiming a large futuristic looking rifle at Garelli. He stuck his hand into his |
|pocket and clenched the battery in it. He then sent out a lightning bolt that killed the man. He raised his shotgun up and |
|fired at a terrorist who was trying to draw a bead on Zach, he then aimed at another terrorist but the shotgun clicked empty.|

|Gerrelli clibed out of the doorway. Whatever had hit him earlier might have been regular brass rounds but they certainly |
|wernt shot out of a regular firearms. Nothing peirced the body armor or damaged it beyond were it could still be used but |
|the force of impact was going to leave some bruising. Garrelli had been hit 5 times with 7.62x39 steel core rifle rounds and|
|even that didn't bruise like this did. |

|DADDY!!!!!" Dragore yelled as he saw garrilli get hit his eyes went red and the blades popped out of his arms "daddy i won't |
|let them hurt you no more" he screamed as he bounded out the door that garrilli was shooting from. he jumped on the walls |
|bounding from each slicing the terrorist's chest and throats taking a few hits but nothing fazing him. "this is what you get |
|for hurting my daddy" the little dragon setting a terrorist on fire with his breath and stabbing both blades into a |
|terrorist's chest and flipping and throwing him at another terrorist then falling to the floor completely spent of energy. |

|"Well at least the buggers can only come at me from one direction." He flipped off the cover for his ACOG scope, and looked |
|down towards the hallway as he heard the terrorists foot steps come to him. |

|Zach readjusted Serathano's improvised sling. He then looked at the wound. |

|"Serathano, this wound was not caused by a normal weapon. I believe it is one of those high velocity gauss weapons." |

|Zach picked up a pistol from a nearby dead terrorist and handed it to Serathano. "You may need this." He then pulled out the |
|magazine from the terrorist's AK-47 and pocketed it. |
| |
|Zach then headed back to where the rest of the group were fighting the terrorists. The terrorist's numbers had thinned but |
|the terrorists that were still present fired relentlessly. Zach then crouched behind the crate where Hunter had abandoned his|
|shotgun and was now using the pistol that he was given. |
| |
|"Garelli! The terrorists have gotten access to the gauss weapons. If you see any terrorist with a rifle that has what looks |
|like cooling fins on the barrel; kill the wielder immediately! The gauss slugs hit harder than a regular bullet." Zach |
|shouted over the gunfire. |

|Makir slipped around the battlefield, delivering a well place blow here, and another there. At one point he heard a figure |
|come up behind him and place a cool barrel against his head. Makir began to open his mouth to shout for help. |

|"I wouldn't do that if I were you" A gruff voice cut him off. |

|Makir sighed and was dragged off into a corner of the room to wait out the fight as a hostage. |

|The first terrorist that charged down the hall way fell to a single round that OD had fired. His body crumpled to the floor |
|and O Donnell grinned. He heard angry shouts and tightened his grip on the trigger as he began firing more and more rounds. |
| The echo of his gunshots spread throughout the hallway. Then the terrorists began shooting back. The air above him was |
|filled with a bullets, and the metal door behind him started to buckle as a good deal of those rounds were gauss. |
|"Woah!? What the bloody heck are the shooting!?" He looked back down his sights and quickly reloaded as he began firing |
|again. |

|Garrelli sat up with an incredibly irritated look on his face. He breathed deeply. However, nothing was too bad as far as |
|his physical condition went. The Sargent could feel the bruises on his chest, but nothing had happend internally. "When i|
|am judged by twelve, and you are all witnesses, they ask you, what was it that Staff Sargent Michael Garrelli was doing |
|when he received four gauss rounds to his chest, your answers will most certainly not be that i was shoving a scientist with|
|a mine strapped around his back into a room full of terrorists, right?" The Marine pulled off his now shattered shooting |
|glasses and let them drop to the ground. He replaced them with a pair of aviators. |

|The metal door behind O Donnell shattered as the gauss rounds shredded it. O Donnell leaped towards it, taking a pair of |
|rounds to his back. He shouted in pain as the armor shredded like tin foil and the hyper-velocity slugs tore straight |
|through his torso. He slammed into the ground and rolled onto his back. The remaining terrorists had tried to rush him, |
|they all fell in a quick hail of gun fire. |
|O Donnell bit back the pain and slowly rose, he tried to heft his battle rifle. And he nearly cried out in pain. He let it |
|hang from his torso, and instead lifted up his SMG. He heard the sound of another firefight, and slowly began making his way|
|towards it. |
|"Man that bites... I hope there's some survivors that way." |

|for you to protect you" panting "don't be mad at me please" tears rolling down his eyes and sobbing "daddy please don't be |
|mad i thought those bad men were gonna hurt you" dragore now in anguish "i am so tired now i think i am gonna take a nap" he |
|dozes off and lays there sleeping |

|prime directive to target any person wielding a guass weapon. As he was unfamiliar with ranged weapons, he took his time a |
|made each shot count. his sensitive ears heard approaching footsteps coming up behind his position down the hallway. he |
|pulled back and pointed his pistol down the hallway at teh approaching noise. when he saw that it was a human wearing army |
|fatigues, he held up his pistol in an open hand. "You dont look like a terrorist, so i guess that makes you on our side" |
|Serathano yelled to make sure that the human wouldnt simply open fire on the tiger sitting on teh ground, wings folded behind|

|He ran back to the battle and handed the shotgun shells and the battery to Hunter who gratefully accepted them and reloaded |

|Zach loaded one of the magazines into his AK-47 and pocketed the rest. |

|"Garelli, Hunter. I'm going in." Zach said. |

|"Woah! I'm coming with you." Hunter said. |

|Zach and Hunter then came out from cover and with weapons at the ready; they cautiously entered the weapons lab. |

|Garrelli was still a bit off after being hit. soliders had been known to survive IED expliosions without even bruising |
|thanks to this armor. That ment that this gauss technology packed a very big punch. However, more than just that was |
|bothering the Marine. Somthing in his mind was nagging at him. The Sargent stopped leaning on the wall and stood up |
|strait. "Somthing is wrong, somthing doesn't feel right." |

|Hunter tapped Zach on the shoulder and pointed to a terrorist who was crouched over something in the far corner. Zach nodded |
|his head. |

|Hunter then grabbed a battery from his pocket, charged up his free hand with electricity and he snuck behind the terrorist |
|and knocked him out with an electrically charged punch. |
| |
|"Makir? Are you ok?" Hunter asked. |
| |
|Zach was had ducked into the office and looked around. The office had been ransacked and there was a dead Lion scientist who |
|was holding what appeared to be a guass rifle. Zach bent down and checked the gauss rifle, the magazine had been inserted |
|backwards. He picked up the gauss rifle and realigned the magazine. The rifle hummed and a small display on the top read "16 |
|shots left, power cell - 100%". He heard the sound of footsteps behind him and he immediately ducked behind the desk and |
|readied his new found gauss rifle. |

|He heard voices. One of which said, "I can smell that scientist. He's not getting away." Another voice replied, "Hey save |
|some for me!" |

|"Try me." Zach muttered. |
| |
|The terrorists entered the office and looked around. At that moment, Zach shot one of the terrorists, an Anthro couger, in |
|the back. He was wearing armor but the hypersonic brass slug tore through it and embedded itself in his chest. He went down. |

|"He's wielding a gauss weapon" one of the terrorists shouted, upon seeing the imposing barrel of Zach's gauss rifle. The |
|terrorists then tried to flee to a more advantageous position as Zach shot at them. In a few moments, the terrorists lay dead|
|or dying. |
| |
|As Zach stepped out of the office, he heard a terrorist say something that sounded like, "I never expected to be shot by a |
|scientist." |
| |
|"Zach! Are you ok?" Hunter asked. |
| |
|"I'm fine, I just got a gash on my arm. Speaking of me being fine, maybe I should take some armor." Zach replied. |
| |
|"Well, I just knocked out a terrorist and he seems to be similar in conformation to you. I'd take it, but I don't think it |
|will fit me." |
| |
|"That's fine." |
| |
|Zach and Hunter went over to the unconscious terrorist and completely stripped him. The search turned up a small medkit, a |
|flashlight, a 7 inch knife, a stolen ID card, an empty 20 round magazine for an M-16, and a stolen M-16 and a flak jacket, |
|though not of the same type that Garelli wore. |
| |
|Zach immediately put on the flak jacket over his lab coat, left the empty magazine and pocketed the rest of the objects. |
|Hunter removed the magazine from the M-16 and pocketed it and keft the M-16 behind. |
| |
|They swept the weapons lab, finding it totally empty. |
| |
|"Garelli! The weapons lab is all clear. We also captured a terrorist. He's in the corner naked. It seems he was holding Makir|
|hostage." |

|"What doesn't feel right?" Zach asked Garelli. |
| |

|ourselves, and get some medical care. This room should do for now as it is a natural defensive point, as proven by the |
|terrorists. automated turrets would help out a ton if we can make some." |

|"Serathano, I'm on it!" Zach said. He then headed over to the computer terminal and tried to gain control of the the gun |
|turrets but he was met with a taunting error message: "Nice try! The turrets will only work for us now! Oh, we may have |
|decided to lock you out of various places." |

|For the next few seconds, the air was pierced by a stream of obscenities from Zach as he vainly tried to gain control of the |
|turrets. |

|"Yeesh. I'm glad Dragore is asleep, I wouldn't have wanted him to hear that." Hunter said. |

|"Well, I can't use the turrets. Hopefully, we destroyed or disabled most of them." Zach said, "And I'm thinking maybe we |
|should rest here for a bit. I'll see if I can close the doors." Zach then left the office and tried to close the main doors |
|from the inside. |

|"Did it work?" |
| |
|Zach shook his head. "We must have damaged the hydraulics or something, the doors will only close partially." |
| |
|"Good enough. And speaking of rest, it was around 10:30 AM when this whole thing erupted and it's now 2:00 AM." Hunter said, |
|looking at the clock in the office. |
| |
|"Wow. Maybe we should get some rest. Adrenaline can only take you so far." Zach's stomach growled. "And maybe get something |
|to eat. Hopefully, the cafeteria is still open." he said with a chuckle. |

|Zach lay down on a small couch in the corner of the office and he fell asleep. His gauss rifle clattered to the ground, but |
|his AK-47 remained strapped to his back. |

|Garrelli nodded, and walked to the corner of the room. He put his aviators back over his face and adjusted his cover to |
|meet with his shades, mostly covering his face. He slid down the corner of the wall unstill he was half sitting, half |
|laying down. The Sargent carried his rifle in both hands, safety off, ready to shoot. He knew he wouldn't be sleeping |
|any time soon. Michael finally allowed thought of emotion to come back into his mind. He would probably be discharged for |
|disobeying direct orders. If they didn’t throw him in prison he would be without a life. Marine Corps was all he knew now. |
|The only thing he could put on a resume was ten years of killing things. The leadership and following skills he learned |
|would be helpful, but in order to use the he had to get a job first. He wouldn’t even have a house to go to, or a family to |
|stay with. The only real friends of his there were had just been blown into pieces. He had to fight with all he had to stay|
|in the Marine Corps. It was his only reason to live. |

|"The fur your are talking to is not a scientist, he is an experiment and possesses power that normals can only dream of. And |
|don't give me that 'a scientist, not a soldier garbage'. A scientist who can use a gun and shoot terrorists isn't someone you|
|screw with. Now are your going to cooperate or do I need to add you to the list?" Zach said coldly. |

|Garrelli monitored his own movements carefull not to hint his own consciousness. His glasses kept his eyes from being |
|seen. He listened carefully, to the conversations happening in the room, gripping his rifle hard to relieve anger. His|
|eyes glanced down at the tags on his belt. "They wouldn't have wanted this," The words flashed through his mind. The |
|ones used to calm him after he had lost half of his previous platoon in an IED explosion. However, his family platoon was |
|diffrant. "They would have had me take down every one of these basturds," Garrelli whispered to himself. |

|Michael was an emotionally crippled Marine. He had joined the Armed forces, unlike most nowdays simply for the sake of |
|fighting. He had seen more horrific things happen than most could even imagine happen to his friends, and by his own hands|
|to his enemies. Because of that, his emotions would shut down whenever they went to far. In combat his mind was |
|mechanical, allowing only anger and frustration to seep through. The Marine Corps wisely saw this as a dangerous thing, |
|and removed him from the regular platoons. As an experiment, the gathered all of those just like him. Most without real |
|families or a place to go outside of the Corps, they naturally bonded, and became a family. Nicknamed the pack, |
|Garrelli's now former platoon handled everything with emotionless, and ruthless efficiency. Never having to worry about |
|having to survive for the family back home, because their family was right there beside them fighting. |

|But then someone mentioned adoption. Dragore was a new reason to live. One that wouldn't be risked on a daily bases. |

|Garrelli let out a dramatic sigh for effect and stood. Without a word he passed the others bickering over dragore and walked|
|over to were Makir and the scientist had both passed out. |

|He grabbed the terrorist by his shirt and threw him against the wall, kicked him five times in the head, stabbed him in |
|the chest with his bayonet, and ended the man's life with a 45. magnum hydroshock hallowpoint in the forehead. |

|His boots covered in blood, the Marine then walked over to Tersian. "That man just experienced Heaven compared to what i |
|did to the man who shot a member of my old family in the leg. I'm giving you differant options than the ones you were given |
|a moment ago. They are your only options. One you can transfer the legal ownership of Dragore to me and do your best along |
|with the help of these fine gentlemen to restore him to his former state, or you can experience Hell... twice." Garrelli |

|violence in front of Dragore. He seems rather upset by them." Hunter then gently stroked Dragore's head. |

|Hunter and Zach passed by an open laboratory. |

|"I'm going to check it out." Zach said. He then entered the room; it was obvious that this room was where one of the |
|experiments was held. He saw a heavy plastic name plate on the heavy reinforced steel door that led into the experiment's |
|quarters but the name was obliterated with a sharp instrument. He looked through the reinforced window to the experiment's |
|quarters, which looked a lot like a bedroom of a 6 year old boy save for the heavy reinforced steel door. |

|"Do you suppose that's Dragore's room?" Hunter asked, he had already walked into the room. |
| |
|"So I see you have an interest in 009." an unknown voice said. |
| |
|Zach raised his railgun and powered it up. "Come out slowly and keep your hands where we can see them!" |
| |
|Hunter clenched the battery in his left hand and surrounded his right hand in a corona of electricity. |
| |
|The unknown speaker came out from behind a corner, a thin Deer scientist with a scar on his face. He was armed with what |
|appeared to be a shotgun. |
| |
|"So, will you join us?" Hunter asked. |
| |
|The new scientist chuckled, "Give me the carcass of 009 and we'll talk." |
| |
|"Over my dead body!" Zach shouted. He aimed his railgun. |
| |
|"Very well." The new scientist caught Zach in the chest with a shotgun blast, downing him. |
| |
|"You evil monster!" Hunter shouted. |
| |
|"You're next!" |
| |
|Hunter immediately knocked the scientist unconscious with a electric jolt as he racked his shotgun. He immediately ran over |
|to Zach. "You ok?" |

|Zach staggered to his feet. "I'm... fine." he panted out, "This armor probably saved my life. Man, Dragore's scientists are |
|just plain evil. I seriously have no freaking idea how they got past the screening process." |

|Suddenly, Zach heard voices coming from the other parts of the lab. "O'Donnell, mind giving us a hand!" |

|suppository," Garrelli joked the corners of his mouth pointed up. Michael was defiantly fighting off a grin. He had never|
|seemed this light hearted in the past. Something about him was defiantly diffrant, one could tell just by looking at his |
|face. Were once there was an ice cold emotionless stare there was now the proud face of a true Marine. Garrelli glanced at |
|O Donnell. O Donnell's attitude in general would defiantly keep him serious enough to go back into kill mode when it came |
|time. He was thankfull for that. |

|The scientist shrugged and grabbed a table leg from a broken table in the corner. |

|cauterized, and i can use it again for the most part. just in case i need to go help out dragore and garrelli. also in case |

|Makir and Hunter and set 2 sandwhiches and a two liter in front of him. he opened the wrappeing on one sub and waved teh |
|whole thing under Makir's nose in hopes of waking him up to eat. |
| Serathano scarfed the other 4 and downed his two liter rather quickly. After a series of belches, he went in search of some |
|fruit. as time went on, the throbbing died down, and the numbness left his fingertips. |
