PUBLIC COMMENTS:

1. Winifred Washington Sr., 1249 Euclid Ave., the 40215 area has been my home since I was a child. I am here to ask that the liquor application be denied for Alama Food Mart. The activities in this neighborhood would only be harmed further with the addition of another establishment selling liquor.

2. Dean Nevitt, 1859 Farnsley Road, I called to get a green recycling can, I want you to know they did not take my name because I did not recycle. I do not need one because I take my recycling to the container on Manslick Road.

3. Keisha Dorsey, 1822 Oregon Avenue, I will bring a copy of the Metropolitian Metro Housing Report. The report is very controversial, it highlights Shively, 40216, when it comes to redlining. Shively is in the crosshairs of when black ownership went up, the property values went down. I want you to know I want to start a conversation about this. Next, I also want to urge homeowners, that experienced a rise in their property taxes because their assessment increased, to call Colleen Younger with PVA.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the council, motion by Tiffany McBroom, second by Maria Johnson to adjourn the meeting.

All in favor signify by saying aye. Those opposed, no. Ayes have it, so ordered. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:26 p.m. All ayes present.
