We want you to be able to have all of your financial needs met right here in Grand Rapids, at this branch office.??Was this a takeover?No, this was something our leadership had been considering for some time and we know that this merger is one that will be?a partnership that continues to prioritize members and the community.? ?What can I expect?As the integration begins you’ll have access to more products and services, both in the branch and online.? Members Cooperative really appreciates this opportunity to serve you and looks forward to getting to know our membership.?You can expect communication, in advance, on any changes to your accounts that will impact you.?What will happen to my accounts?At this point you will continue to use all of your Lakes Area accounts, online banking, etc., as usual. In the coming months we will begin integrating the two credit union operational systems. During this time we will be sure to communicate with you regularly about any changes regarding your account information.?Will my account number(s) change??Your Lakes Area account number(s) will be changing. You may contact us at: 1-800-296-8871 ext. 8505,or review your October statement to obtain your new account number(s).??Will I get a new debit card (checks, online banking account)?Your new Members Cooperative MasterCard? debit card or ATM card will be mailed to the address on record by early October. Your newly activated Members Cooperative debit card will be functional as of Saturday morning, October 21st, 2017. Please discontinue use of your Lakes Area debit or ATM card on Saturday morning.Are you planning to close the Grand Rapids location?No. We will continue to operate in Grand Rapids.When will former Lakes Area members be able to access all MCCU branches for all of their banking needs?This will be possible once the operating system conversion is completed, on Monday, October 23, 2017.When will the conversion take place?The system conversion is planned to be complete on Monday, October 23, 2017.What about online and mobile banking?You will need to sign up for MCCU’s online and mobile banking services, which will include some great new features! Information about how to enroll will be forthcoming.Will members’ accounts still be insured?Yes! Member savings will be federally insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government agency and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. ................
